I often see the comment, “Android isn’t optimized” or “iOS is better optimized.” Why do people say that and is it true? Gary explains!

  1. Business Opportunity in Ruvol

I have invented a Board Game [still unpublished and not yet out in the market] that I believe is guaranteed to be as challenging and exciting as CHESS. I called it “RUVOL.”

It is my hope that one day Ruvol may surpass chess as the “Number One Board Game in the World.”

The weakness of chess is it always starts in fixed positions that the opening moves become “memorizable.” In fact, not a few have so mastered the moves that they can play against their opponents “blindfolded.” It is for this very reason that the great Bobby Fischer introduced his so-called “Fischer Random Chess,” where the starting position of the pieces is “randomized” to make the memorization of openings impracticable. Fortunately, it is also for this reason that I invented Ruvol where “every game” has been calculated to be a challenging one to play.

HOW IS RUVOL PLAYED and HOW YOU CAN MONETIZE IT?

I detailed everything in my YouTube video. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcqth0m3-R0

    BIG MONEY POTENTIAL IN RUVOL!

It is worthwhile to note that the people who play chess will be the same people who will play Ruvol. In my Google search, I learned there are around 800 million chess players in the world. Even just a small percentage of these 800 million is good enough to earn big money from Ruvol either as an ONLINE GAME BUSINESS or as a PHYSICAL PRODUCT DISTRIBUTOR.

  2. I think that even though Android is optimized as a system, it is not well optimized for every variation of SOC and chicanery by Android devices OEMs. Also, iOS is run on bare metal and due to Android's one-size-fits all for any software is not going to be competitive with the maniacal focus of a company like Apple. Android could be competitive, if it was made for a specific SoC not just removed from it to fit the variations

  3. Iphone are the way to go for mobile gaming because these stupid companies have to make so many different chipset for the different price ranges of phones but the day Huawei Samsung Mediatek Qualcomm decide to make one phone SOC to run on all devices is the day Apple will shit there pants

  4. Android smokes IOS on so many fronts. apple fans are just not understanding that they are getting raked over the coals with regard to the price and services

  5. This is a great video destroying the misconceptions about Android. I mean, just using a Apple phone for many years and going to Android, the performance is indistinguishable in most use cases including flagship ones as well.

  6. I’m not expert but apps the very least in their majority , when they are not the google apps ofc , are in fact better optimized for iOS .

Ofc the extra factor also adding to that android phones getting only up to 2 years software updates and after that losing even more optimization from the apps until a lot of apps stop supporting the older os version.
Which is my main beef with android and the reason I ditched it, for those overpriced phones 2 years of software updates is laughable .
And my other reason Samsung chasing ne away with their completely unoptimized Exynos chipset they keep pushing in my region.

  7. You’re saying all the reasons why it ISN’T badly optimised, so why isn’t it as fast? My 4 year old iphone is faster than my brother’s 1 year old flagship android on average. WHY?!

  8. Android allows you to be WHAT you are (and you are not perfect and neither is Android) and iOS makes you WHAT they are. They are also not perfect and neither are you. 🙂

  9. Android's optimization is SO bad. Apple flagships has 6 GBs or 4GBs of ram (Please correct me if I am wrong.) and even with 4 GB they don't struggle. My phone has 6GBs of RAM, system and system apps nearly use 3 GBs of it. If they optimize it correctly we won't see nonsense things like "12GBs of RAM in a phone."

  10. Great! But how app makers optimized their apps for all of android phones? As you expained about fortnite that diffrent hardware cause the problem? Please make a video about how android app devlopers optimize their apps 🙂

  11. Samsung designs exynos processors and they also have full control over the OS. Why are samsung phones still hugely slower than other brands that use android stock. The only explanation would be that samsung really sucks at optimising their phone…

  12. Gary, that's quite a leap of logic. "Samsung has software engineers, therefore their phones must be optimized." This does not necessarily follow. I think the truth lies somewhere in between your arguments and what the public perceives. I believe Samsung (for example) attempts to optimize Android for its phones because it can and it should. But because of its many products and finite resources, it cannot FULLY optimize many, or perhaps any, of its phones. Ask yourself whether Samsung phones would be faster if Samsung produced 6 models per year instead of 36. If your answer is yes, then your point is invalidated.

  13. Hey Android Authority i have a question that about the GPUs of phones that why some games run smoother on iOS or android. Why some apps load at different speeds on different devices. Are the GPUs on iphones are really underpowered or something. Are Qualcomm or Exynos etc. are faster than apple chips in hardware level i know a bit about these just like a hint or like i read 1000 books of 100k. I just want to know more and I didn't found anytime better than you guys who could explain it better… Please reply to me by making some videos on those things….

  14. Bro It sound like u could run a country lol great, informative, "blow my mind" with more questions hopefully followed by answers
