  1. Hey everybody, I hope you enjoy the last video edition of this series! I know a lot of people have questions about why I'm stopping it, so I'll answer as many as I can.

    1. When I started the show back in 2013, we were a young channel without a ton of content. We now have tons of people making videos and it's time for me to take a step back to give them more space to shine. It also gives me time to make some new (and hopefully better) stuff.
    2. I'm not getting demoted, fired, or relieved of duties. The written/newsletter version of this is still going to happen so it's not going away forever. I'll still be making videos.
    3. I'll be honest with you, after 183 consecutive episodes without missing one week, I'm just a little burned out on it. This video takes 2 days to do and that means I'm spending more than 25% of my year making these things.
    4. This was my call. No one else's. If I wanted to keep going, I'd have 100% support. I decided to shut it down, and I got 100% support.

I love all you people who have come to check out the show over the years and I'm especially appreciative to those who have come back faithfully every week. This wasn't an easy decision for me to make because I never imagined that I'd have a following this large (I don't care about PewDiePie's numbers, 30k is a shit ton of people to me). We're talking millions of views over three years and I never thought I'd have 10 people view something I made, let alone millions.

Seriously, I got a bit teary eyed editing and uploading this one. Don't even care, fight me scrub. 😛

Anyway, thanks for watching everybody, and have a wonderful day!

  2. I love watching Android apps weekly than reading an article. I prefer YouTube over reading articles. please bring back Android apps weekly.

  3. so why not pass the torch? you can still supply the content, as you say – the written version remains, and let someone else pass it in video form. I'll be honest here, even though this show was one of my main reasons to subscribe I still enjoy most AA's content here – so I'm not gonna unsubscribe, but I'm definitely not not gonna read it.

  4. Oh man one thing i'll never forget is your intro , good luck to your upcoming work and future plans , man i just can't believe that this is over…One of thr things i never expected to happen , you are one and only in that kind of stuff , we are gonna miss you so f*cking much!

  5. i'm a bit pissed off to hear this, but hoping that there'll be something similar, or at least the text-only version of this stays weekly…

  6. Your videos are what I rely on with good and new apps, sad I won't be seeing them anymore but you deserve all the rest that you can have. I willl surely visit the AA website more often to check AA Apps Weekly. Thank you, Joe.
