  8. I saw the review of the Pixel 5 camera on the side: ultrawide in JPEG is only 12.2MP but 16.2MP in raw.
    The Pixel phones are much better when using raw, with excellent luma and chroma denoiser and best integration into Lightroom. This also works well on other phones through Gcam ports.

    I went for one more try with the Note 20 Ultra yesterday, taking 234 photos. Only 4 were good and it was those taken with Gcam 8.0. All those taken through the Samsung camera were crap.
    This test was to see if I would go to the S21 in January or wait for the Pixel 6 series. I'll stay with Google and my Pixel 5 for now.

    The fact that with the Pixels, any app can access everything is a plus. On a Galaxy, the third party apps are usually limited to the main lenses or can't access the best refresh rates and resolutions. Samsung doesn't like to share…

  10. It looks quite valid that shots are cooler tone on a camera that makes photos that feature a big ass red car in the middle as opposed to the photos that try to auto-tone photos featuring less red tone for base.

  13. God, the video description itself is wrong, in the video it is being said that you got OnePlus 8 Pro, but 8T is being mentioned in description, seriously? 😂😂

  18. Camera comparisons would be way better if you include indoor photos in medium light conditions and pet/kid photos. These are the most challenging situations and show big differences. My Galaxy S20+ struggles a lot in these circumstances, while my wife's Galaxy Note 10+ takes clear shots.

  22. This test doesn't make sense…why would you test those phones against the previous gen cameras from sammy on the S series? Should be the Note 20 Ultra not the S 20 Ultra.

  27. There is a lot of photo comparison with the Pixel 5 these days, it's good to have included the 8 Pro which is often forgotten and is better than the 8T

  35. If a phone’s camera is the deciding factor and a bad camera would deter you from a phone, then you should really consider getting an actual standalone camera.

  38. No night shots? This is the main difference between good and very good these days. As to what next. Oneplus 8pro vs s20 fe vs P30 pro and as extra p40 pro 😉 Another great feature would be link to taken images. So we can have a look at 100% at our own pace 🙂

  40. "Only differentiator" is camera?? Can't help but feel that's not true, as I'm typing this on my DeX setup where my phone completely replaces a PC.
