Hi Josh, I've noticed you are using a stereo bluetooth headphones, I'm not sure if they are the LG HBS-700/730 or the moto buds, I'm getting the LG HBS-730 for my Nexus 5 if it's your case does it work well? I've seen those are one of the first to have VoLTE (high quality voice) so I suppose the Mic can capture more than the usual 4Khz audio of phone calls, that would be nice if Android could cope with that for VoIP apps but maybe that's still in early stages and not fully implemented (I've read that the N5 doesn't support the new APT-X bluetooth audio codec for licensing reasons so it uses the old stereo one)
