  1. I really hate the invite system. When oneplus one was new at the time and was on the invite system I was like "how the hell do I get one" but with the release of oneplus two I can get oneplus one easily without the invite which I wish we could get the two without this invite crap. yeah I heard they didn't want to have many in a warehouse but think of it, they sell millions of them, wouldn't it make sense to make them ahead of time and sell them the same way as Samsung, LG, apple and so on. They would sell way more units of they did the normal way.

  4. Only reason I went with the nexus 5 is the one plus one didn't support the LTE network bands in Australia, no wireless charging and no NFC.

  5. it may be worth the money, but you should not exclude people. look at how blu marketed. they stayed true to the market and make great mid tier devices.

  8. Honestly, I'd rather have a FHD than a QHD display on the OnePlus One, I still think QHD on phones is just exorbitant, and provides no value

  9. do you even economics? the invite system is not some sort of marketing strategy, they just don't have the capacity to actually make it that fast. And the invite system is part of the reason why it can be so cheap. oneplus doesn't take any risks on producing too many phones, because they already sold the phone before they made it. this is partly why other flagships are so expensive. It might be true that Samsung's s5 was not much more expensive to make than the opo, but Samsung only sold about half in the first few months.

  12. I think they can get around the lack of certain features, but they can not get around the lack of two certain carriers in the U.S. The U.S. is the main market to make your money in, and you aren't going to make much if you aren't on the first or third biggest carriers and their MVNOs.

  13. All the problems stated are true however 90℅ of it is getting the phone or the availability. but onec you have it the NFC isn't a big deal. and QHD isn't that drastic to full HD.

  19. No NFC bad but the HD screen is fine why have the extra power drain. I got my OPO under its Invite system and it was fine, that said I couldn't afford a full price flagship, not buying the OPT though as the OPO still rocks.

  20. Yea this invite system sucks. I got my invite the other day but missed it but not stressing anymore over it and just gunna get the nexus 6P. New Moto X is also a great buy. But 6P is just an extra $100 from OPT, has NFC, and its EASILY ACCESSIBLE!!!!

  22. OnePlus had to use the invite system in order to not over produce their devices and keep their overheads low. As a result they had to create a clever scheme to make it seem prestigious to own.

  24. In my Country New Zealand there is a website that is selling one plus two and they got over 40 one plus two. I can't just walk out my house and go to website retail store and buy one plus two🌚🌚

  27. This company is a start which is less than 2 years old. How could u compare them with market leaders with top notch distribution channels? And don't bring bad comparisons on Quad HD vs 1080p. Quad HD fails battery big time. And this is a cheaper phone compared to other flagships. Yea, it's hard to get in US. But they are improving their channels where it's readily available in countries like India. Let them grow….!!

  28. oneplus is a bad company. They made a shitty phone that was made almost instantly obsolete by the moto x pure.

  29. I absolutely love my Oneplus One, but the Oneplus Two is something to avoid. I'm looking at the Moto X Pure or the Nexus 6P. Probably the 6P because of the 128GB Storage option.

  32. Not having the device selling on any "physical" retailers is to keep the price down, and same thing for not giving it a Quad HD screen. I prefer dealing with that than having to pay more.
