I'd wish there would be at least one SOC manufacturer supplying competent and competitive designs to the Android market. Alas, no one is even close.
meditek is also trash. samsung should concentrate on exynos for mid range devices.

No Exynos and Snapdragon is equal to perfect flagship android. Now samsung should make their ui animations good
Those who're lambasting Exynos should probably watch comparison reviews. The S20 Exynos was shit but the S21 and S22 are basically the same as the Qualcomm variant. There's very little in it.
The Mediatek 9000 and 8100 look really good so far! I would have no problem buying a Samsung phone with a Mediatek chip. I just feel a bit bad for their engineers. Less performance and battery life ok, I can maybe overlook those, but when it affects the photo and video quality….that's unacceptable.
