I am hoping the S24 will get the green light to use face unlock for banking apps.
I don't mind the flat screen at the front but the flat back of big phones like these are quite difficult in hand.

From what I can tell the brand new 24 ultra will only cost me about $550
I'm more concerned with the grip and feel of the device. I really like the sides of the S23 Ultra.

They still hold out on the s24+ alt least it has a better screen this year but the camera should be a step up from base model and one step down from Ultra model. 24+ may still be the better buy. Thanks 👍

I doubt it will happen but for me I wish the S24 had dual front facing speakers and a micro sd card slot. I'd personally like that. Throw in a 144hz screen and new software features like multiple user profiles (like tablets) and entirely customizable individual app icons without needing icon packs.
Not as interested in the features they talked about, maybe improved video and translation would be nice but I realistically wouldn't benefit from them that often

Before they start spewing out new phones, why dont SAMSUNG address display issues plaguing their handsets. A lot of people are dead scared getting new updates from them, because after updating display issues starts to arise from their beloved phones. And they are just mum about it knowing they already got your money.

No significant hardware changes over s23 ultra, Galaxy AI as it is software will probably find its way to all the older models, no real need to upgrade.
i have the s23u with the 'armour' aluminium.. i dropped it on my kitchen floor and it took a chip out of the tiling… not a scratch on the phone… anyways, there is no point in using titanium except for marketing

Every year it's the same thing, a slab with a little more powerful chipset and 1% better cameras… At least if they tried to get rid of that god awful hole in the display, or innovate on the battery, but no.
At the end s23 ultra remains my favourite.
Only auto AI photo editing after taking pictures is what i don't like in s23 ultra and i don't know how to deactivate it.
