You can now install the Google Pixel 2 launcher on any phone. Check it out on the Galaxy Note 8, complete with S Pen, Bixby and edge screen functions intact.

The Pixel 2 launcher will work on all phones running Android Lollipop and above, but with the best features reserved for those running Android 8.0 Oreo (notification dots and the ability to change app icon shapes aren’t available without Oreo).
To install the launcher, download the APK from the link below. If you just want the launcher and don’t mind NOT having the Google app on the far left screen, allow Unknown Sources and just launch the APK.
However, if you DO want the Google app home screen, you’ll need to install the launcher as a system app on a rooted device.
You can either flash the zip file from the link below as a system app via TWRP, or do it yourself (see below).

To install the launcher as a system app manually, simply move the APK from your downloads folder to /system/app using a file manager like Solid Explorer. Once you’ve moved the APK, long press it and go to Properties, where you need to change some read/write permissions, like so:

Apply the changes and reboot your device. You’ll now have the Google app screen on the far left home screen of the Pixel 2 launcher.
