This is the only good feature that's really USEFULL (and no, those other bulshit options they have sucks).
That is odd I have Samsung Galaxy tab 3 and is not rooted but I still can install APK files
Every phone had panorama 2 years ago. Android has 360 degree panorama. Hence the name photoSPHERE
Is there a reason why my device only shows the settings option and not any others such as to switch between rear and front facing? (Yes I do have both)
Apple already did this like two years ago…
If you've rooted your phone with cyanogen mod 10.2 , this is all you need 🙂

i was hoping you could help me. i have this installed but i have audio problems. Only when recording audio. For example, Videos on camera, while using applications like Snapchat and Voxer. It sounds fuzzy, you just cant often distinguish what is being said.

I just installed it on my LG optimus 4x HD, android 4.0.1. But, does anybody know how I can remove the shutter sound from photosphere??
"PhotoSphere landed on Android with the 4.2 update. Well, it only works on recent devices, with Google APK, so only with a camera device compatible out-of-the-box with the AOSP camera app (hello, Exynos!)

It already had it in April 2011 when Photosynth made their mobile pano app for iOS.
Windows Phone had it since May of 2012 when they got Photosynth's mobile pano app.
The next step is to use structure from motion techniques (as the orginal Photosynth application on Windows does) in order to cleanly stitch foreground + background when the camera's lens does not pivot perfectly on one point in space.

Yes you can. I just did on mine. Just Google up the apk.
Works on HTC One S, even can use the new gallery to pan around like street view!
