I've had this phone for a long time until it broke recently and unlike other smartphones, this phone ages like crap. the battery life is just shit and one time it died on me at 56%. and the front camera just can't focus anymore after years of using it so you cant even take photos with it. I'm happy because that phone was crap but sad because of the memories

After 3 years…i finally got a new phone. I must say that HTC one A9 worked AMAZINGLY with me… It was great… It never eveeerrrr lagged with me.. It fell like hundreds of times and never broke… It broke after 3 years and it was because it fell from the car… Flat faced… On the street. But overall it was a great phone and I absolutely loved it.. HTC is truly one of my favorite brands… HTC, LG and Apple are my favs.
The only thing that annoyed me was that I got a 16gb… Now I spoiled myself with a 128gb phone so I can never feel that pain again.

The M9 was a great phone, the camera was the ONLY negative thing about the phone. and last time I checked, there was more to a phone then just the camera. M9 has great speakers, great display, ppi, great cpu speed, clear and crisp phone calls, great front facing camera. So why are people hating on the M9.
I judge a phone by its camera and thats the only reason why I just bought it! The camera is way better than great!
It's $150 for Boost Mobile so now it's a pretty good phone.

Just as AA says, "Everything the M9 WASN'T!" …I'm glad they used some of these features in the layout of the 10, or it would've been another complete disaster for HTC instead of just getting by in sales like it has been…

my mother got two of these for free when she updated her 7year old mobile plan to a modern one. i decided to use it as my Samsung Galaxy s5 was getting old, slow and damaged. ive never been picky with mobile as mine have all been preowned handy downs from my parents. i must say as a free, modern phone that isnt huge like the new iphone or galaxy phones this is great. has plenty or batery life to allow me to take pictures for work and still surf facebook.
HTC is junk! I have three of them all have sd cord charging issues. I
never had that problem with samsung well i did but after three years
with my samsung but I can still get it to work. I had a HTC m8 which i
liked until a year later and the phone quit charging. The guy at ATT
said he had the same problem with his m8 and had to replace the sd port.
Our IT guy bought me a new a9 and 3 months later because I liked it I
personally bought my own a9. Well one month later both are now not
working one without bending the sd charging cord and my new phone is
shorting almost any sd cord causing it to smoke. I did find one cord
that is not smoking but that will not last long in my experience. Too
bad samsung is having trouble and I wish i got an apple phone even
though I hate apple and don't want to be stuck in that world but would
like a phone that works. btw I'm pssd
