Kris is answering questions about release dates for the HTC One Max and Galaxy Note 3, what carriers will have the Motorola X, common Galaxy S4 problems, Android remote control apps and more in this week’s Android Authority Q & A.

Q: When do you think the HTC One Max (T6) might be released? Also what specs do you believe might be official on the handset?

A: As of right now, there is still nothing official on when we can expect a release date for the One Max, but last month a financial analyst said that he expected that we’d see it in the second half of 2013.

Specs can always change, but I think it’s a safe bet to say that the HTC One Max will have a Snapdragon 800, at least 2 GB of RAM and of course HTC’s Ultrapixel camera. The screen size is rumored to be 5.9 inches, which sounds about right to me.

Q: I’m thinking of buying the Samsung Galaxy S4. What are some of the more common problems with it?

A: There are two main complaints I see about the Galaxy S4. The first is lag in a few areas, like the home button and scrolling through menus. Luckily we did a Tips & Tricks video for the Galaxy S4 which includes remedies for both of these problems.

The other problem I hear about somewhat often is overheating. This can be caused by a bunch of things, but not everyone seems to have this problem.

Q: When is the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date? Will it be coming to any U.S. or Canadian Carriers?

A: Last month we talked about a few rumors that we might see the Note 3 sooner rather than later, but since Samsung’s Premiere event came and went without unveiling the Note 3, it’s safe to say that we’ll probably see the Note 3 announced at IFA and released in September, just like the Note 2 last year.

And yes, the Note 3 is one of Samsung’s biggest phones of the year (in more ways than one) right alongside the Galaxy S4, so we’ll definitely be seeing it on quite a few carriers in the U.S. and Canada.

Q: Is there any way I can use my HTC One S as a TV remote control like you can with the Galaxy S4? Maybe an app?

A: It won’t function exactly like the Galaxy S4 or the HTC One, because for that you need a built in IR Blaster, like both of those phones. Depending on your setup though, there are a few possibilities. XBMC and Plex both have remote apps, so do some smart TVs from companies like Samsung, LG and Panasonic.

Q: Does the Samsung Galaxy S4 support 64 GB microSDHC cards?

A: Yes.

Q: I’d like to use lock screen widgets and shortcuts on my Galaxy S4 when I have it on a pattern or pin. Will Samsung be releasing a patch for this?

A: Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any official word of an update that addresses this. We’ve got our fingers crossed, but who knows when or if this will happen.

Q: I’m a new owner of the HTC One and I was wondering: is there any official news that the One will be updated to Android 4.2 or 4.3

A: Well, I don’t know where you live, but an update to Android 4.2.2 is rolling out for HTC One users in Europe, so it seems that it should begin to arrive elsewhere pretty soon. When it comes to 4.3, there is no official word right now, but it looks like the Google Play edition of the HTC One was spotted running Android 4.3. When that will end up in the hands of customers is up in the air, but it’s pretty safe to assume that we’ll see it eventually.

Q: Will the Motorola X be available on AT&T? Or just Verizon, like other Motorola Droid phones?

A: Last week it was confirmed that the Motorola X isn’t going to be a “Droid”-branded phone, though it will be coming to Verizon. According to filings with the FCC, it looks like AT&T, Sprint and U.S. Cellular will be also 0getting the Moto X. There you go.

  5. My weird uncle managed to make the most incredible stripper there is in my town fall in love with him as he used the Cupid Love System (search in Google). It's bad but I wish I was excited for him but I want such a beautiful girl to fall in love with me. I'm incredibly envious. Does that make me a lousy person?

  6. I wish to learn to have more sex. My cousin has begun dating a 10 because 8 weeks ago he registered to a site called Master Attraction (Google it if you desire to learn how.) I'm jealous since I would like to fall madly in love too. How come it's so difficult? I'm gonna have a look at this Jake Ayres guy's information. Crazy thing is, he once had Zero results with women. How does one transform that fast? His girl's a fucking model!

  7. I looked at some of the observations on here. I feel this is a high-quality vid. My younger brother would like to get excellent with sexy chicks. He began to understand a lot from Master Attraction. (Google it.) The advice with regards to picking up girls in night clubs from Master Attraction got him his first fucks in a number of long years. I'm aggravated however coz I heard them all. Grrrr.

  8. I looked at all the observations on here however I really think that's a solid movie clip. My older brother simply would like to become astounding with ladies. He gleaned a shit load from a site called Master Attraction. (Google it.) The recommendations on attracting women through nightclubs in the emails coming from that site got got him his 1st sex in 4 years. I was irritated though due to the fact I heard them all. Unpleasant.

  9. Right. I'm annoyed. My cousin resides in the bordering room and he in recent months grew fantastic at obtaining all women. The guy found the Master Attraction web page by Jake Ayres (Search in Google). All he's doing now is screwing women. He's consistently bringing the ladies back and I can't help but hear it, which is yucky. If only he never found that site. My best companion just signed up and got a blowjob a week later. I'm envious!

  10. Htc one is definitely better, it has everything you need and not those gimmicky things on the gs4 and the audio quality is amazing

  11. dont regret buying any phone a couple months after the note 3 is released the s5 and the htc two will be out and so on phones are released all the time constantly improving so just enjoy it the Htc one is a great phone.

  12. the Htc one has good battery life my wife has the Htc one and with the power saver on it lasts from 7:30am till 8-9pm and thats with playing alot of candy crush and cheking out pintrest and her sync on for work emails so i am pretty impressed with the battery life apparently the one maxx will have a 3300mah battery so should be plenty .

  13. Life sucks. My friend has started seeing a stunning young woman basically because 60 days ago he registered to a website named Master Attraction (Google it if you wish to know more.) I'm so envious because I wish to fall in love too. How come it's so hard? I'm going to check out this Jake Ayres man's information and check out if it might help a person like me. Surprising point is, my friend previously had NO luck with girls. How do you change so swiftly? His lady's like a model.

  14. I wonder if its going to have a better battery. That's what kept me from getting the HTC ONE… battery life is horrible. And after putting up with the shitty ass battery life of the Droid Bionic I use to have…battery life became the biggest priority with me. That's the #1 reason why i bought the Note 2. Have they leaked the battery life of this phone yet?

  15. To be honest, in my own personal opinion i think galaxy note 3 and Htc one max will be best phablets in the market and i don't give a dam thing about Sony xperia z ultra. Only because of the not so friendly user interface as Htc or Samsung… Thanks for this information Android Authority and keep your great work!
