  1. Yeah 10 years later still nothing like it , I guess it was ahead of it's time.
There is nothing like Sense even in 2021 amazing tech.

Been trying to simulate weather on lockscreen , they even had a moon for the night so it simulates time 2.

    I guess too complicated.

  2. WORST ever new "feature". It does nothing but annoy me to no end for NO added protection at all. I already got a lock (connect the dots), why on earth cant I just simply disable it without installing things like no lock (also removes my connectdotlock). I seriously regret updating my HTC now

  3. @QAdeputy Yes but the time it would've taken me to swipe the lock screen down and accessed the app that i have on my front page is far quicker than to drag a small icon and try and get it into the ring. Its also incredibly annoying when trying to get the ring onto snooze or turn off alarm when your half asleep. I didn't ask for this lock screen and don't know why HTC wouldn't allow the option to go back to the older version.

  4. @mblooman2001 You can just pull the ring to unlock and go to the app manually. They gave you a choice to have 4 apps you can jump straight into; thats 4 more than any other phone gives you.

  5. This new lockscreen is EXTREMELY irritating. All my friends hate it. Why do need to put a shortcut in the ring? i find the time it takes to put the app in the ring, i coudl've swiped and opened it up quicker the old way. Seriously why do you need this function??? And why do we have to wait for 3.5 to remove this lockscreen and go back to the old one!

  6. @BlubberOwl So what? At the end of the day the consumer is using a godawful UI.

Google doesn't care about the end user – they only care about getting as many people using Android as possible.

iOS and WP7 both look like masterpieces compared to the clunky, laggy Android OS.

  7. this is great, but I was wondering how to get the phone icon back into the quick launch if you've replaced it with something else. It doesn't give me the option, it only lets me do apps.
