I still have this phone, this was only given to me I think 4 or 3 years ago. Still perfect. No issues
I actually got a secondhand one from a friend last July 2019 for around $100 and it still works so well. It's battery lasts me almost the entire day and is fast enough to support my games, netflix and browsing through social media. Still a good phone for 2020 if you're not the type to feel the need to have the latest specs on your mobile device.

I have a terrible Chinese clone of the phone called "Uni Mate 8" or "MBO mate 8" which has terrible plastic, bad camera, and worse the navigation keys are pretty bad.
Is this phone still good in 2019? I really thinking about getting it 😅.

The video quality is pretty bad and looks washed out.
I was almost about to buy a second hand Mate 8 today at a cash store and trade in my S6 edge+ but im happy i didnt.
Good that with updates a lot of the problems mentioned in the video are now solved like app drawer screen and multi-screen now supports almost all apps like dropbox, music apps and video apps like youtube.
