  1. Since doing this video have you guys had any further software update to this tablet? (Huawei Is known to have very slow updates to their non-flagship/older devices)

  2. Strange review, to say the least… The Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite gets 7/10 and 8/10 from many reviewers on the Internet. Google it! Obviously a Huawei hater here…

  3. Why wouldn't they still be "a thing"? Don't you think Samsung would stop making their excellent Galaxy tabs if people weren't buying them? They don't sell in the millions like smartphones because people tend to keep them longer.

  4. I don't think that Android tablet are a fault per se. More the fact that most are getting not a single (!) update since its launch…I compared a current 10" Android tab with the Acer Chromebook Tab 10 and I have to say that Android still is miles in front of Chrome OS in terms of a decent platform for tablets.

Will be very interesting how Google's strategy for the future will be…

  5. Its a good netflix-only tablet, far better than the iPad 2018 because of the better screen ratio (16:10 is soo much better than 4:3 for Media consumption). But I agree that the iPad has the better processor and better software, but these are both irrelevant when it comes to watching movies..

  6. I have an iPad and an Android tablet. I use both for different tasks. I find the iPad more secure and its battery more reliable (but Acer Iconia isn’t all that) but I find my Android tablet a lot more fun, flexible and accessible. The iPad is a locked up system, Apple decides what goes in and out of their systems, On Android you have no one to control you but also less security so I use an internet security, just like I would on a Microsoft computer. They have different apps but productivity is better catered for on the iPad. On the iPad there’s no freebies, everything you pay for (not talking about free apps…). It is really personal choice and, in the end, it depends what use you make of it. I will update my Android tablet to a faster one, with a bigger hard drive ASAP though.
