HummingBoard-i2eX review!

It runs Android & Linux!! The HummingBoard-i2eX is a dual-core SBC which runs Android and Linux. It is a versatile board. It has greater performance than the Raspberry Pi 1 and includes more memory. At $110 it is more expensive than the Raspberry Pi, but you get more for your money.

  1. Hello. Can you please tell me where you can download an image with a ready-made android for hummingboard i1-310-d?

  2. Okay so the RCA connector on the Raspberry Pi is a Composite video port? And on the HummingBoard the RCA connector is a coax s/pdif out??

  3. homering bird an actule computer raspberry pie a way to get stupid people to wast money. buy the way its called a hdim port or h.d.m.i. port not a hatch dmi

  4. im looking at the humming board edge, there is a option to include wifi on the microSOM.
can you try a mini pcie wireless card with your humming board? I wonder if there will be enough power to supply the mini pcie wifi card.
It would also be cool to see a wifi card with m.2
On my raspberry pi, I run 2 wireless n cards as a wifi repeater… I have to use a powered usb hub or the cards will suffer from disconnects due to not enough current… this setup is a big mess of wires and I hope the humming board will replace my current setup… my goal is 2 wireless n cards on the humming board…
Any problems you can see with my plans?

  5. HummingBoard-i2eX interesting mane. Google gives the touch of love and most of it's dedication for it's Android devices , as a feedback we get dhoom thrill, stunning video , and whatever we want , my all loving friends One Smart Phone is not enough , get motivated and connected with technological information of Google -:)) Be ur own Boss

  6. 110$ ??, the pi 2 has 4 cores at 900mhz and 1GB for RAM also the video-core-4 at 24GF all for still 35$ 🙂 , i do not see a place for this

  7. Would be great if you were a little more careful with sound levels either while recording or in post processing. The volume suddenly jumps high where you stitched the narration a couple of times during the vid. Thank you for the interesting review!

  8. Hi Gary, will you be looking at and reviewing the ODroid from Hard Kernel? Their boards look to be better spec'd and priced than the Raspberry and HummingBoard.
    Jon.

  9. This was an awesome video! I really like the more technical side of electronics and I really enjoyed this. I'm definitely looking forward to more videos from you!

  10. Damn Gary, you're getting awesome at this! One thing that could be improved though is that the video is rather monotone. If you could throw in some background music into the video like Michael Fisher (PocketNow) does, that would make the viewing-experience much better. Other than that, awesome!
