  1. If you buy the first of anything it will have some compromises, though after using this watch for just over a week, it's really nice. The notifications from apps that are not even installed on the watch are excellent and the software experience being Google is what makes it. The assistant is also another great feature. The battery life, I'm easily getting 24 hours plus. If it's this decent for the first watch the second can possibly be excellent.

  2. First generation devices all have compromises and things to improve upon in theor future generations. But the fitbit premium part is what puts me off and strongly discouraged me from getting this watch and its future generations unless Google change the premium nonsense.

  3. The battery life is a joke. After a year, as your battery ages, you will be around 5-10 percent at the end of the day. Im android user, but I bought apple watch, charged them yesterday evening, sleep tracking on, 1,5 hour of gps bike ride and after 24 hours Im at 41%.

  4. None of these smartwatches appeal to me when they have such mediocre battery life. The utility of the smartwatch doesn't mean much when I have to charge it every day.

  5. This thing looks EXACTLY like my Galaxy Active Watch 2, which does everything this does, but for FREE. For less than ⅓ of the price!

Yeah, I'll buy it because I'm f***ing r-worded! Only thing about Tizen os: it's slow af

  6. I have never been able to find a genuine use case for a smart watch, from any vendor. If you want a Fitbit, get one. The rest of this stuff duplicates features that my phone already does well.

  7. I was in the Williamsburg Google store in Brooklyn yesterday. Was getting my Pixel Buds Pro with the store credit for the P7. Was looking at the Pixel Watch and was all set to get one day one.

Then I remembered the compromises they made for this. Old SoC with a very much needed co processor. Dat bezel! Then to add insult to injury the tease of 6 months of Fitbit pro. All that and everything else mentioned on this vid for the low low price of 350 usd. A Hell to the NO on that. This thing at most should have been 299 if not 250. Oh and throw in Fitbit premium permanently for buying this. As it is this DOA from the start. There are plenty of other WearOS smartwatches that are cheaper and do more than this. Google you done F’d up

  8. Despite all the reviews complaining about the battery life, normally it lasts about a day and a half for me. I do set it to sleep mode when I go to bed and have AOD disabled.
