Google Home and Google Assistant are great. But voice commands only go so far. The Lenovo Smart Display adds a screen to the equation, giving you a new world of content, command, and control.

  1. How about one that’s stuck in some store demo loop? Thought eBay was a great deal. Haven’t figured out how to get it to normal mode. Have tried all resets even android reset and seems never gets out of demo mode.

  2. I was given the Lenovo 10" Smart display but didn't get a power supply.
I don't know where to get one. I called Lenovo and they said they don't make it any more.
Anyone has any ideas on where I can get a power supply for this unit.

  3. Just bought this unit and downloaded the Google App. This unit had to be rebooted 3 or 4 times and had to go through the Google Home app 6 times to get it on line properly. As usual the programing instructions are so cryptic that they cannot be understood in context of the desired directive. Now we are trying to get it to recognize a second voice. It will obey the second voice but says it doesn't know who she is. Programmers are inhuman non-contextual idiots…

  4. For consideration… It doesn't support continued conversation like googled Home devices. Also, you can't add it to your Google home audio groups.

I'll likely wait to see what Google offers later this year… My assumption is that it will fully support all Google home features.

  5. Got the 10" and 8". Love these! Easy to setup. Super fast. Makes great video calls via Duo. Video is pulled up fast and in HD. Just a great experience all around.

  6. Never heard of the product before, haven't seen it advertised on TV, this is first mention of IT I have seen & AM NOT IMPRESSED. What's Lenovo trying to do, RE-INVENT the Microsoft SURFACE?

  7. Nice device, one I think works even in developing countries because a lot of Google services works everywhere.
Nice review and walkthrough the device also love the collaboration videos.
    Video liked as always people

  8. Great video and editing. The audio was rough.

I plan to ask for one of these for Christmas. Hopefully Google comes out with one of it's own. I don't like the idea of having a Lenovo device in my home for security reasons.
