  1. I own both,I use the Flex as my main all around device and the Round as an mp3 player, watching videos on the round really lacks in immersion while the flex does give me the great experience, I hate touchwiz and the the 3gb of ram isn't really a step up from the Flex's 2GB since the majority of it is wasted through touchwiz, overall I keep the round just to say I have one but I much prefer my Flex,G2 and Xperia Z1

  2. I don't understand this gimmick? Remember all the advertising when flat panels came out, and curved screens "distorting image quality" ? Why would we want curved now?

  3. The puns on the phones… So funny! I couldn't stop laughing!

I love Samsung. I'm a total fan of Samsung. But in this particular case,I like LG's handset a bit more.
    🙂

  4. The thing that makes choosing these phones so difficult that they both have positive qualities that the other is lacking in. LG has great displays but only 720p, while Galaxy has pretty good displays but its 1080p. Also the curves help comfort in opposite ways. And then with hardware the LG has the really helpful back buttons, but lacks any other real buttons. While the Galaxy has a more common and in a sense useful buttons. It's really hard to go with one or the other…

  5. The lg g flex is a better phone because of its battery size. Who would want to keep on swapping out batteries on the round if you have one big battery like the g flex.

  6. They are both pretty gimmicky but interesting phones all around. I'm sure they both have their respective learning curves. In terms of resolution i'll give that round to Samsung but it all comes down to which phone is the most well rounded. I'm sure most manufacturers will have their own take on these curved displays until we go full circle and go back to slab screens. It's all good as long as they don't lose themselves in a spiral of gimmicks…pun gun back in the holster

  7. The difference in the curve Does make a difference in use. The Samsung is sturdier to bending the long way than the average phone BECAUSE of its curve (while putting it into your back pocket of your trousers fr. example). The LG IS already bended a little bit in THIS direction – so a force that wants to bend a phone the long way meets the flexibility of the LG and the sturdyness of the Samsung.
