  1. I don't share the other 3.5mm jack instead I use both at once. One for my ears, the second one is to stick earplugs up my nose for the full audio experience.

  2. Why would they not sell in the US?? wtf ..
5.5" or higher screen display & up to date specs then we're set for a mainstream device..
Marshall can do it with next to no effort .

love the design, it really stands out with the volume wheel, they need to keep the removable battery tho..
great as a back up phone none the less.
    love the idea.

  3. At last a phone that looks a bit different .Shame the specs dont match the price ,a 5inch full hd ips screen isnt much to ask for these days

  4. The only thing stopping me from buying it is the screen and camera. 1080p 5.5" (or at least 5.1"would be nice) and apparently the camera sucks. I would pay iPhone prices for this if it competed in these fields.

  5. If they release a new Marshall London with
    -5.8/6 inch quad HD screen
    -3,000-3,700mAh battery
    -Samsung s/note 7 like cameras
    -4-6gb Ram
    -32/64gb internal storage
    -Snapdragon 820
I would definitely buy it, and I don't think that I'm asking a lot of things as they are the standard for flagships nowadays

  6. I don't need a camera on my phone at all. I don't play games or watch movies on my phone. I use my phone to make phone calls, email and text. I also use it for listening to music. for years I have wanted a phone that did great sound quality. I have been using a separate MP3 player by Cowon as phones are pretty naff in the music department. So, Marshall has finally produced what I want. I don't care what screen it has or if you can access social media and look at pictures of people's dinner. All the other stuff may matter to others but not to me. Hell, I'd love having the ability to swap DACs out like I do on my sound card. For a first go, phenominal effort.
I'm a guitarist, I also play drums and bass. I go to gigs a lot and having the ability to record without distortion is a boon. Truly amazing device. I had to carry about a separate hand held device to do that before. I was always forgetting to charge it so having something similar that actually works and is integrated into my phone… Fantastic!
Definitely not for everyone, but that's not the point. We all have different wants and needs. It's long overdue, a phone that isn't about mega-pixels and tiny cameras with a 1mm focal length that will NEVER take great photos. Some times less is more.

  7. I have an iPhone 6 and a Marshall London. The music on both phones just sounds the same to me. Do I have a hearing impairment?

  8. Sooo
My screen, on my Marshall London, cracked about a half year ago.
Requested them for a new screen (digitizer), which I wanted to use to repair the phone by myself.
Denied, the part was only exclusive through their services.
They offered to repair my phone, by shipping it back to them.
    It would only cost about…
    280 EUROS!!!! WHAT. THE. F**K!
And that's how I returned to my s**tty speaker on my Galaxy S5 mini

  9. THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION FOR THIS KIND OF PHONE: can I configure a upper audio jack as an input? so I can connect irig.. a electric guitar and then.. output what is being played out the speakers of the phone?? if this is possible, you could play electric guitar with just a cable and the phone. I cant believe nobody on the internet has tested this on any review.

  10. These are what phones should be like.Classic phone set up with its own personality.Bring backs memories of phones that had there own style and touch as well as games.Nostalgic really

  11. Being a musician myself I can understand what they where going for but cutting down on specs was a big mistake. The thing I value most in a phone is media (as I think most musicians would) and by result love all the software features that are included, but that doesn't make up for the sacrifice in specs. It's all well and good to have all the fancy features but if the specs aren't there to back it up people just won't buy it. If Marshall made something similar to Huawei's Mate 7 or Oppo's R7+ but with this current design and all the audio geek features I reckon these would sell like hotcakes, or at least I would buy one…

  12. Now coming to the qustions as to how or if Snapdragon 410 chip is better than 615 or 800, Qualcomm has re-branded its modem products under the Snapdragon name in February 2015. so the main differentiation would be the Modem capability on the SoC. Given that Application processor remains the same the higher the number better its performance w.r.t Modem. Below is the full list of the specification which shows that 800 > 615 > 410. If the modem itself is constant then the APPs processor would be more powerfull. So the classification is done based on the combination of all the below.

  13. You would only buy this phone if you were SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALISTUPID. A complete rip off and flop from what I can see, how can they even come close to justifying this price? And for the specs, it's just Bare faced cheek!

  14. this phone is overpriced. I won't pay an extra $300 for audio software, the phone should be priced at $200 or even less 😛 c'mon marshall its not 2013

  15. This has an LG made feel to it. Almost the same specs as my LG Volt 2 (LG G4compact) 720 IPS display, 410 processor, on screen buttons on the bottom etc..
