  1. Same old? Iphone couldn't bring it. Samsung? Where's their mods? My jbl trash the loudest Ultras or pros sound. Put the video on the wall and share… Can't even with the 1000.00 phones. Its also the lightest.

  2. People that don't like the z series probably never used the mods that they like. My Z2 force still going strong.. projector mod is my favorite. Sprint gives me Hulu for free.360 camera is awesome to video a room full of people from one spot.. if you haven't tried the mods don't bash the specs..

  3. You should test this with Microsoft OneNote, drawing aps, and Microsoft
Pen Protocol compatible active stylus pens, which would put this in a
class with the Samsung Galaxy Note, but at a substantial discount. Too
bad they reduced the max microSDXC to 512 GB from previous models 2 TB.

  6. Mods have zero support for updates, look at the last time they bothered to throw an update towards the wildly overpriced $300 Hasselblad camera that struggles to even do the basics like focus. I loved motomods and the Z series but Motorola/Lenovo care about them only a little less than they care about their customers.

  7. Don't buy this until Motorola supports the mods that go with this.
Rather torqued that I bought this at a Verizon store only to find out that Motorola doesn't make this anymore. Nothing online, went to three stores in the Marin county area.
Try looking for the Wireless + charging shell for it. Nada, zilch. Won't find it anywhere online or in the store. Why wireless. I've had several Droid turbos charging ports go bad from constant use via wear and tear. It would wiggle then eventually be too difficult to charge with a "use original charger for faster charging". It is the original!
So a wireless one would help take the load off the port by allowing it to charge overnight while sleeping. Just a strategy that's extended the life of the charging port.
    Good luck.

  8. Come on, $499,00……Only people who invested in the Mod-system will consider buying this. Finally I get the advantage of the mod-system…..for Motorola.

  9. If this can match the Pixel in camera performance I’ll get one for sure. But as always with Motorola I’m not holding my breath…..

  10. I am still a Moto g3 user but watching these type of products launch by a great band it seems like motorola is going to be obselete in few years

  11. I thought the Moto Z Play battery was big… Biggest on a Moto Z Device now is Z4… And it's not even the "Play" variant… I hope the pricing is good.
