  1. Are they doing anything to improve the quality of those 2 MP depth/macro cameras that every other model seems to include to pad the spec sheet but is totally useless?

  2. How come my phone already smoothly zooms between lenses and it also tracks and zooms a person? And I have an answer 865 +. It's it that is going to do it even smoother and better? Thanks

  3. Year every year they be hyping "new camera tech" like it's revelational when In real world usage it's just a turtle steo from the last Gen

  4. What is the main thing about the cameras on the cellphones.? Does it make a difference if you have a 12mp camera or any other? Also, what does f/a mean on the cameras? Can you please explain that.

  5. I just want to see a smooth transition on the fly between the lenses with no stuttering whether while recording or just cycling through the available lenses.

  6. Front facing camera on androids always sucked vs apple I just wish if Google would make an ultra high end with their amazing computational photography algorithms and up their hardware game to be able to compete.

  7. I think that the HDR capability of an iPhone is integrated on its cpu. Now i think we can have iPhone like photography on Android with this 888. The biggest difference between iPhone and Android devices when it comes to camera, is that the brilliant Dynamic Range of iPhone over Androids.

HDR enhancements can be triggered by hardware or software or even both.

The major part of software level HDR processing of a photo only comes when shutter is clicked. But iPhone does it in real time even before the shutter is clicked that is, even the buffered images of an iPhone camera is of HDR quality. While if you use HDR+ enhanced on Gcam on devices other than pixel or nexus it takes time (post processing). Because the CPU isn't capable enough to show real time HDR improvements. Even for some 800 series Qualcomm processors. Something what Apple delivers right from its core, the bionic chip.

For androids, a new SD 888 processor is coming with an inbuilt computational HDR enhancement that will show in real time even on the stock camera app. But for Gcam with this, let's see what will happen.

SD 888 computation HDR uses staggered sensor which clicks two frames at low expo and high expo, what Apple called it EDR (Smart HDR) in iphone XS. Apple's extended dynamic range was introduced first in iphones XS, now it has come to Qualcomm. Now Qualcomm has support for that because of three Spectra 580 ISPs. But manufacturers has to push OEMs to collect and process that Data throughput. While Gcams used to process HDR data through it's software only with their remarkable algorithms, now they will make it even better by processing dynamic range of an image that's already been enhanced on a hardware level through ISPs.

ISP is responsible for BASIC image processing tasks like WB autofocus and HDR. Manufacturers coupling this with AI making it even more better. Apple's ISP coupled with its neural engine is what gives brilliant photography.

The ability to shoot multi frames at different exposures was present in Apple since iPhone XS with the tagline of EDR (Smart HDR). While SD 855 and newer had only Computer Vision ISP capabilities which speeds processing of HDR. But for the very first time as confirmed by Qualcomm, we'll see this multi frame multi exposure in Android with the tagline of Staggered HDR.

Interestingly Apple had HDR in previous iPhone X & 8 with an A11 Bionic with the tagline of Auto-HDR. But ever since the XS, Apple felt it killed every Android devices (except Pixel 3) by introducing Smart HDR in 2018 that had a massive leap in terms of dynamic range as compared to Auto-HDR. Smart HDR brought multi frame multi exposure because of A12 Bionic and redefined the extent of dynamic range of image, the same job that Staggered HDR will do. From that we also conclude, Apple used to do it's image processing mainly on their chips.

Now we'll have Androids Staggered HDR head-to-head iPhone EDR aka Smart HDR.

  8. Business Opportunity in Ruvol

I have invented a Board Game [still unpublished and not yet out in the market] that I believe is guaranteed to be as challenging and exciting as CHESS. I called it “RUVOL.”

It is my hope that one day Ruvol may surpass chess as the “Number One Board Game in the World.”

The weakness of chess is it always starts in fixed positions that the opening moves become “memorizable.” In fact, not a few have so mastered the moves that they can play against their opponents “blindfolded.” It is for this very reason that the great Bobby Fischer introduced his so-called “Fischer Random Chess,” where the starting position of the pieces is “randomized” to make the memorization of openings impracticable. Fortunately, it is also for this reason that I invented Ruvol where “every game” has been calculated to be a challenging one to play.

HOW IS RUVOL PLAYED and HOW YOU CAN MONETIZE IT?

I detailed everything in my YouTube video. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcqth0m3-R0

    BIG MONEY POTENTIAL IN RUVOL!

It is worthwhile to note that the people who play chess will be the same people who will play Ruvol. In my Google search, I learned there are around 800 million chess players in the world. Even just a small percentage of these 800 million is good enough to earn big money from Ruvol either as an ONLINE GAME BUSINESS or as a PHYSICAL PRODUCT DISTRIBUTOR.

    Thanks and God bless!
