Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat video walkthrough

Alex takes a look at the new Nexus 5. This is Google’s new flagship phone, and it’s running Android 4.4 KitKat for software. It’s a rather unassuming 5-Inch slab from the front, but the back has large Nexus branding across it, along with a rather large camera lens that protrudes ever so slightly. The back is soft touch plastic which extends around to the sides and it feels solid in your hands. The Nexus 5 is just a bit taller, thinner, and wider than it’s immediate predecessor. The soft touch plastic means you won’t get that shiny look that the Nexus 4 had, but it also won’t go sliding away, or scuff up as easily. This phone runs a Snapdragon 800 with 2GB of RAM, and it a very fast device. There isn’t any expandable storage, but you can choose between 16GB or 32GB of expanded memory. A fixed 2300 Mah battery, and has G wireless charging support. When it comes to camera you have an 8MP back camera and a 1.3MP front facing camera, and it seems to be a good camera at first look. The screen is a 5-Inch 1080p display, and it’s a substantial improvement over the Nexus 4.

  1. I'm still using the original Nexus 5 with Lineage OS & I'm running android 7.1. Still a great phone.
Battery life for screen on time isn't the best & internal storage is meh.
    Still like it though.

  2. Anybody knows how logout email from this phone ?  I can't find the logout option and it drains the battery so fast. Thank you.

  3. Il y a une super évolution (très inspiré de l'univers Windows bien-sûr) même si globalement ça manque de cohérence, on switch tout le temps d'une esthétique rétro à une autre très moderne et bien réalisé.

  4. Hi While sending group sms its showing as mms , how to de activate mms? since there s no user guide to help me.?pls contact me at the earliest.09037480213

  5. I'd rather pay more as in premium for decent hardware. After checking it out i decided against it – don't get all the excitement over pure android.

  6. Seems to me nexus ia trying to compete with apple, Softawe wise there winning but they seriously need a new design even if it will cost us a little more

  7. i was wondering if anyone had the nexus 5.. the bottom bar with the home button etc, is that on the screen, and is that accessible while the phone is "sleeping". Another thing does it ever get in the way and do you ever press it by mistake?
