  1. Yup, its definitely a case of finding the device that works best for you. I only get 1.25GB per month on my plan (data caps are insane in New Zealand), so I do have to be careful – I work from home though so usually it's on WiFi anyway.

  2. I'm glad, sounds like it's a pretty good phone for you. I'd love to rely on cloud storage but I guess I'm one of the more frugal types with mobile data 😛

  3. LTE works fine for me – don't have any signal problems, though when I am in areas with it, I'm usually in the CBD so probably very close to a tower. Definitely see that 16GB is going to be a problem for some users – not me – I have around 4GB free at the moment and that's with loads of stuff I could get rid of or move to cloud storage. Same with the battery, it always gets me through a day with plenty to spare – but, I'm probably a moderate user at least as far as screen on time is concerned.

  4. Nexus 4 is great but you don't have LTE, the phone doesn't have the LTE band amplifiers despite having the radios. This means you get a slow/ weak signal. Benchmarks have little to do with the overall experience on the device, the Nexus 4 has a significantly better SOC and a newer version of Android .:. generally performs better. Just don't forget you only have 13.somthing GiB user-accessible storage and no expansion or removable battery.

  5. he wanted the best under 300. and i was talking performance not storage. yes you are right but i never use much so i never counted that. but if you do then yea its a big thing. its all about the user

  17. Hi WeiLenny, check out Android Authority on the soon (4 wks) to be released Note 3. A nice bump in performance specs and an increase in screen size without increasing size of the form factor from the Note 2.

  18. Hey, i would like to have a new smartphone and I fell in love with the Note 2. So my question is: List it a good idea to buy the Note 2? Or is it just to old now, so that It will be laggy and updates won't be there anymore in a few weeks? Thanks for the answer. 🙂
