Sure, quite outdated software-wise, but otherwise a technically a $600 phone (on a 2015 hardware level, even for this year it's still fairly decent, I mean SD 810 and dual channel RAM does wonders) for ~$200 was a steal

$500-700 is quite steep. They should be competing with the OnePlus 2 which is better than the Z9 is many aspects yet still a cheaper msrp price. If they really want to grab people's attention, compete with the OnePlus. If not, they will quickly become irrelevant.
