  1. I rather like that trick that it looks like Oppo is using. It gives us the visual benefit of an edge to edge, but the screen is still safer, and the screen itself is slightly smaller while looking bigger, which would help battery life.

  5. Well the order's went live, so it look's like it is both, it's real but they set it for April Fools day just to be even more confusing and some of the marketing is twisted. 🙂

  7. I was gonna say. The rugged Galaxy version should of kept the Galaxy features its known for, removable back. Of course compromising with built quality. That makes sense. By the way you ve raised the bar with content Androidauthority. Keep that dynamic going UP!! 🙂

  8. I am on a entry level phone right now, and I want to upgrade, but I don't know what to get. I like cyanogen's software due to how customizational it is, but I haven't actually used it yet. I also don't know if I will like Google's android because I am currently on a slow 4.1.1 jelly bean phone that is really just poor quality. I have no idea if the newer versions on a better phone will be much better, and if it is, how long will it stay that way?

  11. The new oneplus gadget is a VR headset. The drone is an April fools prank. It is ment to compete with the Samsung Gear VR and possibly the HTC Vive. The evidence is in all the pics, not just the one with something covering it. The oneplus logo in 2 streams of light represents the 2 screens in VR. The guy holding something could, thinking size wise, compares almost exactly to a VR headset. And lastly, the covered gadget appears to be a rectangle with 2 raised portions, which is the shape of a standard VR headset. With all this, I think that it is a good bet that this could be true. Assuming that this is correct, what do you guys think it should be called? I thought the Oneplus View at first, but its to similar to the Oneplus Two for them to do that. Comment your ideas below.

  17. I'm really curious to see how One Plus works out their new Oxygen OS. I am happy they moved away from Cyanogen though, they were getting to arrogant 😛

  22. I don't think OnePlus could be successful with a drone. It's not that big of a market and I guess the few people interested would stick to well-known manufacturers like Parrot or something. They should try not to piss off their already angry fanbase even more, I still like them for some reason.

  32. @Jayce Broda I hope for oneplus' s sake they arnt pulling any trick because over on their forum all hell has broken loose due to the hype advertising and so far them being unable to deliver on any .The latest being failure to deliver the two os updates this week. People have completely lost their shit
