Not sure why anyone would settle for a mid tier device, considering the logic behind the OPT development team is that specs are the most boring part of the phone, hence the feature set and low specifications of this "flagship device." The phone keeps being pushed further and further behind in the tiers as current and newly release flagships surpass it.

Sony Smartphones are pretty good if you ask me. I never owned one, but the cameras are awesome, and they got the same specs as every other flagship.
Well, the Design is not that good i really dont like sharp edges, and the 4K panel is kinda useless too, but they are still pretty damn good. AND they support PS4 Remote Play (Which for some reason also works on my OPO, but that doesnt matter 😀

Sony makes great phones but you can not buy one. I am currently in Japan wanted a unlock Z5 4k or premium but you can not buy without contract. So how can Sony succeed if you can not buy their product. and also phones are not available in Sony's own flagship store in Tokyo. interesting
It's a shame that things aren't going too great for Sony, they make great products! The z5 premium is like my dream phone, although a little bit too expensive.
