  1. The "San Diego" (seriously? What a stupid name) is such a bullshit phone, a sandwich of creaky, spray painted brittle plastic with a nice blotch that appears when the Atom cpu gets hot. The battery will die completely after a few months, and you'll be stuck with this terrible example of how NOT to design a smart phone, and Orange will just abandon you, as always.

Now the good news: This steaming heap of rose fertiliser was discontinued a LONG, LONG time ago, and no one seems to have heard a peep from "Xolo" and their thrown together, overhyped Indian junk phones.

  2. i have this phone orange gave it me through insurance as my htc one s broke and i think its rubbish signal is bad camera is turd. they basically chinned me off with this crap

  3. Hi, I am using Xolo for 2 weeks (San Diego Indian name) … it works pretty good. Whatsapp runs absolutely fine. only few select games wont run which are built for ARM only… this should be fixed in the near future as the Motorola is coming with a Intel phone as well

  4. I want to get this phone but I read online on some websites stating that some apps like temple run dosent work but I was wonderung if whatsapp will work on this phone with ginger bread. Has intel fixed the problem with the apps that don't work on the san diego because I like playing temple run. Is it a good idea to get this phone or the sony ericsson arc s because they are both goood phone for £200

  5. Sweet, but the PPI is set to a wrong value, even on Gingerbread. Everything looks too small. Still this is a huge improvement and I hope Orange will not mess with a good thing! If you own a San Diego, please contact Orange and formally ask them not to mess with the ROM! There are not too many OSD customers, so even a few tens of people demanding something can make a difference.

  6. September-October. This demo is from Intel, and Orange will surely skin it a bit here and there. Expect to see orange instead of cyan accents, and probably the launcher will be different too. You may consider contacting Orange to express your opinion with regards to skinning it. If enough people will ask them not to mess with it, then maybe we'll get a more pure version of ICS, and a quicker JB too, eventually.

  7. its not completely stock theres still some orange customization.. for example theres a billion icons on one page in the app drawer haha
