  1. A very small percentage of obese people have the excuse of it's something medical. For most it's a form of addiction and depression. I pray you both see healthier days.

  2. from my usage of both, the 6p gets 30 to MAYBE 1hr more SOT, depending on how i used it. Games will kill the 5x faster than the 6p, but other than that no big difference.

  3. Nice review, I agree in general having owned a Nexus 5x for 2 days now (and the Nexus 5 for 1.5 years before that). The pros and cons Russel and Jerry say I agree with mostly. This is where I differ:

I disagree with the recommendation to get the Nexus 6P. Pocketability, portability, the ability to use my phone with one hand, the ability to make calls without looking like I'm hold a giant tablet up to my face matter, so I'll prefer the 5x. I'm that person that can't stand a bigger phone. I've used my sisters Note 5 and I hate it. I don't care that it is 15% faster or has slightly better color, etc. etc. It's impractical.

The 5X feels "cheap" if you're used to magnesium or aluminum phones, but not if you're used to a plastic phone, which is most people. The soft-touch plastic feels premium to my touch.

I'm against the gradual phone-size arms race. One of the three things that I dislike about my N5X, and they're minor issues, is that it's slightly too big. The Nexus 5 was the perfect size. Even 10mm longer and 5 mm bigger is getting to be slightly too big.

The second issue I have is that the vibe is a smaller and faster weight than the N5, which produces a higher-pitched bleep sound, reminiscent of the early 80's arcade machines or 8-bit consoles. It makes me want to turn off the vibe for everything except calls. Vibes shouldn't make any noise, at least when in hand.

The third issue is that the speakers are still not outstanding for music. They work well for a ~$400 phone, but they're more merely functional. What got left out of this review is the fact that the N5X has an excellent audio chip, which makes it great for headphones. This matters much more than how the speakers are.

I also think the N5x deserves more applause for having a DRASTICALLY better fingerprint implementation than the TWICE AS EXPENSIVE and premium iPhone and Galaxy S6. If the iPhone had a fingerprint sensor this good we'd never hear the end of it's REVOLUTIONARY blah blah blah. I hate how much advertising/propaganda affects people's perceptions, including evidently professional reviewers.

On a side note, the audio in this video review is bad.

  4. I am considering the 6P. However, I am concerned about the rebooting you mentioned on the T-Mobile network. How often does this occur? Is this due to location or is it the metal build, if you know?

  5. it's not kind to make light of someone's weight. They see themselves everyday. Some humans are so vile and ignorant, there's no love. People can be so simple. It's their body, not yours. They aren't sequestering anyone's opinion on their looks or health status.

it cost nothing to be kind.

  6. I'd also agree. The 6P is the better phone. I only got the 5X because I didn't want a Phablet. I'd pay the same amount for the 32G 6P for a 5P (smaller 6P)

  7. the camera on the 5x looks a bit choppy. Should be smoother after some fixes. To be fair. The nexus 6 im curr using has only really come into its own since the 6.0 update. Good on 5 but brilliant on 6.0. Although I am looking forward to the camera on my 6p thats on its way. The 810 will produce a smooth camera experience from stock 6.0 I think.

  8. I like this format of phone reviews guys! Both of your were honest and didn't rattle off the specs which we all know by now. Nice job guys!

  9. Good comparison guys, great work! One thing though : The front facing camera on the 5x is 5 mp, and the one on the 6p is 8mp. Keep up the good work!

  10. Great feedback for those phones! Appreciate you guys discussing the 2 phones. Ordered my Nexus 6P. Can't wait! Upgrading from G3. I liked the G3, especially the camera, but the laggie, buggie software is driving me crazy. To bad… I usually like getting 2 or 3 years out of a phone. I guess my G3 will be my Clash of clans mini tablet from now on. I've been using my original Galaxy note for that, but Its about dead, the thing has lasted forever!

  11. These 2 guys are Champions! I very much appreciate this video. I'm gonna go for the 6P. I've never had a large phone so it will be an experiment.
