There's no way samsung would release the base note at 60hz. I think that's being a little too pessimistic, it would piss off way to many people.

At this point I'm really eager to check both the Note 20 (Ultra?) and the Fold 2 in order to choose which on I'm going to buy. I hope the Fold 2 is more durable (my main concern and probably the reason I won't get a foldable phone in 2020) and has better screens (bigger external screen and 120Hz with full resolution internal screen). About the Note 20 (UItra) I hope it supports 120Hz at 2K+ resolution with good battery life (I'm not liking the thinness rumors) and I really hope that unlike in previous years Samsung actually sells it in the configuration with the most RAM/ROM (and in black, no colors) here in Portugal.
$1400 and only 2 years of updates , no thank you, ill go get a $400 phone with 5 years of updates and a good $1000 laptop
I'll buy it in 2 years time, and then transfer my 6,500 songs from my S10+ 512GB phone to it, and then add another 6,000 or so songs to it. Should have just over 13,000 songs then 😁👍
Unless the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a stylus, what's it for? I mean… either merge the S and Note lines or the Note and Fold lines! I can see a future where the Note merges with the Fold, and the stylus is tucked below the fold in a cylindrical space under the OLED screen. That way you could read a document on the left part of the fold and write on the right side of the fold. Get on it, Samsung!
I'm probably going to wait for 3 days after launch by then the phone would had depreciated to half it's original value

Buying this phone to get shortchanged of 1 major software update next month at the price of 1k at least. Sounds like a good deal for anyone who wants to get ripped off by Sammy. Never again.
I really like my note and enjoy when the new ones comes out but they lose value so quickly that I cannot ever see buying one brand new at launch.

They'd be stupid to price it higher than $899.
I'm a Samsung fan but I don't know why Samsung are making weird decisions in their Note flagships in the last couple of years, I'm talking about the amount of compromises made in the smaller version and the high price tag.

The big question here is why is Samsung doing this to the note 20? They do this every year.
I really hope they make a completely flat variant…I’m not overly interested in samsung, but I LOVE the S pen. I might be convinced to pick one up if it’s flat. Anything curved though I’m not buying; curved displays are absolutely garbage.
I want to know about the fold 2 as well
