My main complaint about the ios has to do with functionality and music. I bought an unlocked iphone4 and then brought it back to walmart for a galaxy s series for 2 main reasons that are seldom on the side-by-side comparisons: (1) functionality- in N.E. Ohio there isn't a lot of Wi-Fi in my area, I couldn't even register the phone without taking it back to the store where someone had to use a "hotspot" in order to do this. (2) music- I cant record my free old music w/o an "iTunes" match! Ripoff!
I did the exact same thing, I went from a iphone 4 to the s4. I thought the screen would be too big but now I think its the best feature.
Wow nice review by an android Authority user, don't judge a book by its cover, run the test to find out which one is faster not by numbers. iPhone is far more superior than gs4 due to quality built and being more reliable period. Within a year of usage gs4 will start to slow, lags, overheat, poor batt life. Had my experience and won't go back to Samsung.

Not being biased here seeing as I've been an Apple consumer for at least 7 or 8 years (if not more). I have always loved Apple products but I feel like they have not been advancing much. And quite frankly, it's getting kind of boring. I had a iPhone 4 as my last phone and I was contemplating on switching to a 5. However, I decided to give Android a chance. I'm really pleased with my S4. It works perfectly fine and the quality is great. I recommend it to anyone who's thinking about upgrading.
