  1. I used to have this phone and I loved it. But, it came to Christmas in 2018 where I got a samsung galaxy a6 and my parents sold my samsung galaxy s6 active which was a white on and I was kind of sad because I loved that phone but it was an awsome phone even when it lagged a little bit but it was a perfect phone at the time when I had it.

  2. why is my storage space always full, even though there is no data whatsoever, the storage is full named (other) how do I clean it up?

  3. This is NOT a rugged phone, dropped one in a case from 1 foot above a wood floor, and the screen disconnected. This is the second active that has broken on me, the first one's charging port broke after a year, and then the induction coil broke a year after that, no rough treatment on either part, it's just a shit phone that they obviously didn't think of any backdoor to easily repair.

  4. Great video. I just picked one of these up on ebay, for an older friend, who recently dropped his flip phone in water. Thank you for taking the time to put all this info together.

  5. Just so people know, don't believe everything you see or hear in these videos! A good friend of mine put hers in a cup of water for 30 seconds, then took it out and it seemed fine. Just started doing random shit on the screen. But not dried out and worked fine half an hour later. But when she woke up the next morning it was dead. She turned it on and all it had was a black screen and a weird white line across the screen. Then it died again, wouldn't charge, and never turned on again.
She sent it to Samsung bcuz she had a warranty, and she was told it had water damage and that the warranty didn't cover it. But that they would fix it for $185. Yeah, right!! You can buy a brand new one for close to that now.
Just saying, be very careful with putting it in the water.
That said, I use my phone to watch YouTube vids in the shower all the time. I try to keep it towards the side so it's not directly under the water, but it doesn't matter. It's been directly under the water plenty of times and I've never had any issues with it whatsoever.
My friends may have just been a defunct phone or something. Who knows? I've heard of s6 active breaking after 10 seconds under water, and I've heard of people taking them in the ocean for hours of underwater photos.
All I know is when I choose to get a new phone, I'm going to go crazy with my s6 active and go underwater all the time with it. Take pictures, film underwater videos etc. Then I'll find out how durable it really is under water.

  6. Anyone on here that has the S6 Active? I'm asking because I got mine about 2 months ago and it's weird because whenever the battery runs really low and ends up dying, I go to plug it in and it always says 1% but after, less than 1 or 2 minutes, it goes from 2% or 3% to 15%-19% instantly. Even when i unplug it and use it for a minute, it doesn't go down in percentage either. So it's def not some odd error or imperfection.
I'm just wondering if this happens to anyone else, and/or if anyone knows why… thanks!

  7. It might be better to not have music playing in the background even if it is very low, in fact that's what makes it so distracting. Hard to tell where it's coming from. It's really unnecessary and at times can interfere with how well I can here what your saying. Music at the prelude and end are find but not needed during the review. I always enjoy your reviews but cut the music please.

  8. I'm posting this on a few Samsung S6 Active reviews to help other potential buyers. I didn't know that Samsung S6 uses a Nano size sim card. I was using the Motorola G2 cellphone that uses the Micro size sim card.

The manual didn't mention anything about Nano size sim card. The sim card holder has the shape of a Micro size sim card. Dummy me, I put the Micro sim card directly into the sim card slot and it fits without the sim card holder. However, it won't work and the micro sim card is stuck in the phone.

AT&T service center could not help me. They suggested I contact Samsung Service Center which I did.

In the meantime, I found videos on YouTube that shows you how to take the stuck sim card out.

I have to commend Samsung Service Center. I bought the Samsung S6 Active on Ebay, brand new. But the dumb mistake I made was certainty not covered by warranty as there is nothing wrong with the phone. The Service Center sent me a pre-paid shipping label to ship the phone to their Texas Service Center, no charge to me.

A week later, they acknowledged they received the phone and will work on it. Two days later, I get an email saying they are shipping my phone back. Within two weeks after shipping the phone for service, I got a New Phone, not the phone I sent for service.

At no cost to me, making a dumb mistake inserting the wrong size Sim card, Samsung send me a new phone for a replacement.

  9. CAN ANYONE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE POINT ME TO THE MARSHMELLOW UPDATE? I'M IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY I CANT GET IT WHERE IN AM -_-
