  1. don't prolong your battery, have 5% shorter lifespan than someone who does.

company will make your device/battery's lifespan around 2 years anyway so it doesn't matter at all. unless you are cheapo, then sure, play that game of prolonging battery life.

  2. Will my iphone get damage if i start charging at 40 percent and unplugging my iphone at 80 percent? And instead of doing at 40-80, can i do 20-80?

  3. I wish KitKat gave an option to limit charge level to some safe point below 100%. It doesn't, so I just leave it plugged in until it alerts me that it's fully charged.

  4. Battery's are cheap anyway ,but not when your device becomes the failure through excessive power consumption . I have had phone's fail as they needed stupid amounts of power to continue to work .. This was evident by the heat the phone made in day to day use and while charging .Even after a factory reset and new battery . Other devices i have saved by deleting a one colporate benchmark app .. I still haven't found the cure to google services demands battery use .

  5. It's not really that shouldn't use third party chargers, but rather that you should do your research and be careful with them. One thing I find that helps is if possible, try out the charger in the store. Try plugging it into your device. Ideally, the connection should be snug, and the plug should be flush with the device.

  6. Is it alright to use a 2.1 amp charger (Griffin PowerDuo Universal 10 Watt 2.1 Amp Fast Car Charger) on a smartphone that is designed for a 1 amp charger? I have a 1st gen Moto G by the way. Please answer. Basically will using the 2.1 amp charger shorten the overall battery life of my phone? Thanks.
