Its big to make it easy to hold in landscspe mode and heavier than some of other sony phones to accomodate censor
Because of the 20MP camera technology. The other option would be a hump in the back like the Nokia Lumia 1020.
Sony explained that…unfortunatelly, the reviewer was so focussed on bashing the phone (Samsung-fanboy I guess) he didn't even bothered get the info.
