  1. The reasoning for the 45% higher purchase rate on IOS is that there are more paid for apps on IOS than there are on Android thus common sense would say if one app is free on one platform but paid for on the other the paid for numbers would be higher on the other. Angry birds is a prime example of that one.

  2. Android has a lot of low end entry level devices and Apple only sells 2 expensive devices. So those that have Apple devices are far more likely to make app purchases.

  3. I thinks it's because there is more users on iOS that don't think about what they are purchasing (under 12)

  4. Great videos as always! id never miss this show for anything, considering that most of the apps that i have are originally mentioned here!

  5. I love how android fans are now getting just as excited and speculative when google rumours are going around as apple fans do when a leak comes from apple supply chains. just goes to show that tech fan hysteria is in no way exclusive to apple.

  6. I think it's because wealthier people tend have iphones, not because they are less intelligent, but because lets be honest up until 3 or 4 years ago Android phones weren't that nice to look at, and you might even say they weren't reliable. But I see that statistic changing with the beautiful high end phones coming out now a days.

  7. Here is my latest Google Play Weekly
Seriously, Spotify released a whole new app because one dude got hacked. <3 you Spotify, that's the only kind of overreaction that doesn't make people angry 🙂

  8. It may be an american company name but this phone is just a rebranded china phone called gionee elife e7. Its already available in many asian contries. The interface sucks and the camera although is a 16 MP shooter does not really take great photos as one would expect. I bought this phone about 2 months ago and am totally regretting it now.
Better get a nexus as both have very similar specs and the nexus provides fastest updates and and ui is very very fluid and easy to operate. I have been stuck at jellybean for a long while now although i have heard about a kitkat update coming soon to this device.

  9. Its because android users are generally more intelligent and are thus less likely to waste money on apps that are cash grabs like candy crush and clash of clans.

  10. What's the name of that box game?  Not sure if they mentioned it.  I keep replaying the segment but didn't catch the name of the game.

  11. Not first but that watchdogs companion app seems really cool especially since you don't need to own game on console or PC to play.

  12. Nice shout out to Chris Nacca, he is a great reviewer, anyone with an android phone or those looking to get into android should check out his channel.
