I loved the Yahoo Weather app. But the darn thing doesn't update 🙁 . The 1W app is not as nice and it has that horrible add band at the bottom, but it has the same stuff and it actually works. Thanks for giving me an alternative!
I did my test of the 10 best weather apps, based purely on accuracy, I bought a hand held, Digital Weather Station, to record the Weather right outside my door, in the middle of nowhere in Augusta, Ky. I figure if an app can get my weather right, then it will work anywhere, I test them all for 1 month, checking temps & things daily, at random at all hours of day & night, with my weather station then the top 10 apps, Intellicast & Weather Channel app, were on the nose or within 1 degree of my temp 98% of the time, 1weather was a close 3rd, Yahoo was 4th, but a little farther down in 4th, the other 3 clearly beat Yahoo, no other weather app, even came close to my top 4 most accurate, which is what you want, who cares about how pretty it llooks.
The Weather Channel app used to be so nice … then it tried to get into the interactive apps BS.

I use Eye in Sky. It looks really good and is simple. So it's basically exactly what I need from a weather app.

maybe you should start looking for a channel called "iOS Authority" or maybe "Windows Phone Authority" because I'm pretty sure this one says Android Authority

Be weather Pro should be No 1. I have tried all these others and keep going back to BeWeather, it's absolutely beautiful, easy to use and has everything you need.
BBC weather and eye in the sky should really be in that top 10…..
