The LG V60 is a cheaper, quirkier S20 alternative

It’s a relief to see the V60 come out with an actually reasonable price that slots under the highest-tier phones and actually matches its capabilities. And interestingly, the result is a flagship that cuts on price and makes a case for itself as a solid value option.

  1. 120 hertz displays are gimmicks its full HD plus… LG doesn't give a s*** about trends… my buddies who do have that S21 Ultra turn it right down to 60 because their battery life is f**** terrible laughing my ass off

  2. Most consumers couldn't care less about or notice the refresh rate….Game players…maybe…anyone else…who cares. I think…my 3 week old $600 new LG V60 is the best deal around! Awesome

  3. It’s sad how shitty they review this phone, these Instagram twines don’t know good tech when they see it. The LG V60 is a stellar product, and this guy got a lot wrong on the phone because probably reviewed it like 2 days. This phones flew way more than you say in your review. But it’s not Apple or Samsung so it doesn’t matter smh.

  4. Maybe if you're American or Korean. LG unfortunately don't sell it in most countries. LG aren't selling either the LG V60 or LG Velvet in the UK. LG are a dying Smartphone OEM unfortunately. If you leave a market as big as the UK – your days are numbered

  5. 60 hz 90 hz 120 hz. tech has advanced but our human eyes have not. you know how much more intensive it is to sync up TWO 120hz displays to work together??? its tough enough with 60 hz and powering TWO screens at 120 hz would eat harder into battery liffe as well. lg was the company that led the upgrae in the first place and they have the display capacity to compete with other 120 hz display at their 60hz refresh rate. lg has he best oled on the market. the 120 hz display is more of a gimick at this point to drive the price up to 1300 dollars.

a 120hz dual screen would has shorter battery and would be 1400 dollars easy. putting dual screen even on the table is innovative

  6. So many great reviews and I got one to replace my v20. Well after seeing the phone I'm returning it. My V20 with removable battery and 1440p screen I just can't give it up. Plus I have the Zerolemon case with 10,000 mAh battery . No such case exists for the v60.

The v10 and v20 are the best V series phones IMO.

Bring back removable back covers phone makers!!!!!

  7. The V60 has a button to pull down the notification shade on the bottom left-hand screen of my LG V60 and it's in the button Arrangements that you can customize with up to five different buttons maybe you should do a little more research

  8. You have to make trade off:
Lower refresh rate = better battery life to support 5G (consume more energy)
Less camera = cheaper phone that includes a dual display (better productivity)
More weight = better battery life to support a powerfull chip, dual display and 5G.

I like the trade off for a great affordable phone w dual display.

  9. This phone is amazing! This guy doesn't do it any justice. Just makes it seem like the phone is mediocre which it's definitely not. Sorry but thumbs down on this video from me.

  10. Phone enthusiasts are nuts. The V60 has its compromises… With what? The zoom is just as good as last year's V50, it's battery is yuuuge, the video recording software and UI are unmatched, you can get it with a 2nd screen, and it's 2/3rds the price of a Samsung with a marketing gommick zoom camera when most phones use the regular camera for zoom in anything but perfect conditions anyway.

But hey, ya gotta balance telling people what they want to hear and how they feel based on preconceived notions, so sure, the V60 is "compromised". 🙄

  11. came from a one plus 7 pro and didnt notice the full hd screen or 60hz at all. id rather have this flat screen over curved edges anyday as well.

  12. there are so much LG Haters in the World because Of LG logo or i dont know why they dont like LG even if LG was always the first at something
the first with Quad HD and Full HD res on a Phone and dual core processor and Quad core
the first with Dual front facing camera and Dual rear Camera
first with knock on Screen and Full Vision infinity Display on LG G6
First with Optical image stabilisation and lower aperture wide angle camera Quad dac high Quality audio and stil got theat head phone jack did i miss something ?

  13. I'm coming from one plus 7t with 90 Hertz refresh rate..I just switched to the v60 and I really don't notice a big difference with the 60 Hertz….not enough to really care…

  14. It is better in everywhere except USA than the whole S20 lineup due to the crappy exynos which drains the battery like crazy, while being slow and very hot. Selling that crap in UE should be looked into by some authorities and samsung should stop doing that.

  15. I had a V30 for a couple if years, then last week I upgraded to the V60. I lasted 2 days with it. Frikin phone was too big.. it’s a great phone, with a beautiful screen and great DAC, but something just snapped in me. It’s so big my hands would cramp after a lot of web surfing. I traded returned it for an iPhone SE 2020. Lol. I gave up a lot I suppose but I’m never going back to a giant phone again

  16. Im an apple user, Im consodering switching simply for the audio dac(s) this Lg offers,& blues my favorite color:) any advice on this smartphone? Does it at least have “face recoignition”? Thank you for your teply

  17. You know what I think everyone is missing is that the Galaxy line up is essentially an iphone. If I wanted an iphone, I would buy an iphone. I want a phone with cool bells and whistles which is why I am watching this on my LG V60 Dual Screen. In happy.
