That literally makes no sense to charge somebody of first degree murder and second degree murder first degree murder means you literally premeditated to do the murder second degree murder means you did not premeditate to do a murder so this makes no sense at all she premeditated apparently but she also didn't premeditate it like really people running this country in the law and everything today are a bunch of idiots charging someone for first degree and second degree murder like really like I said it makes no sense

I do not see the purpose of incarcerating Potter. It isn't to protect society. Being banned from any police, security or carrying a weapon would suffice.

I believe she had no intent to kill. Is man slaughter justified.. by definition, it’s is. But it’s it accidental.. no. The gun didn’t discharge in holster and kill some one. It was aimed and trigger pulled.. it falls some where in between
If she didn’t shout taser, would it be manslaughter, the guy was resisting and had weapon charges.. police have shot for less and its legal.

Well this is a bullshit verdict. This was never about race. It was a cop against a bad guy and then it turned into a race issue because legacy media played it that way. Disgusting.

The taser and gun have the same grip type and I can totally understand someone making that mistake her reaction was instantaneous in that she felt horrible about the mistake, I do not agree with the charges however I do feel that the police all too often get away with worse offenses it’s a shame that she has to be thrown in jail because of the actions of others before her. I hope the appeal goes well and she is free to be with her family, I do say all of this having NOT seen the trial so perhaps with that it may change my opinion but the arrest video that I have seen does not show a crime in my opinion.
Potter screwed up in court. She told Dr, Miller that she saw a gun when she held it against Wright's chest.
Upon cross, she said she doesn't remember holding a gun. The prosecutor reminded her of what she told Dr. Miller. On that contradiction alone she convicted herself. Why? Because both charges required her to be conscious of having held a gun. The jury had the conviction by her own words.
It's a shame she will go to jail for taking out the trash.
Definitely a broke system, cops who are definitely guilty of murder found not guilty and cops who are negligent in a killing found guilty, WTF, makes no sense, yeah she is guilty but what about that little boy they killed with the toy gun. And the guy killed with a concealed carry and the guy selling loose cigarettes. And the guy in Ferguson. This system broke. And retarded.

Potter should be given a much higher jail sentence on both counts and the sentences should run consecutively. Her whole demeanor has been cold, unremorseful, fake emotion, sarcastic, defiant and unbelievably arrogant. Her theatrics began seconds after she shot Duante, she knew body cams were active and she acted out her theatrical 'defense' immediately because she knew exactly what will happen… " I'm going to jail "… Damn right..!!
I just watched the video, the criminal was being arrested for warrant, resisted arrest and jump back in the car to drive while the door was open and 2 officers in the path….He had no care for his door hitting both nor did he comply with the law. And you wonder why you have a crime wave in your area's? You dont have a racism issue, you have a stupidity issue. He would still be alive if he was not breaking the law.
