  1. He shot at the police in his vehicle while being chased. He's not innocent at all. If someone shoots at you, misses, then runs away, then suddenly turns towards you, what do you do? I'd shoot to incompacitate. The thing that I see wrong is they kept shooting like crazy when he was incompacitated. He would have died anyways, even if they stopped shooting while incompacitated. Too many officers shooting as he turned. If he just stopped and put his hands on his head, he'd still be alive.

  2. HAHA…PEACE and CALM??? Those policemen wasn't calm. Only evidence of him allegedly having a gun was a photo taken of a gun. That photo could've been taken anywhere.

  3. They didn’t shoot him when he was in the car nor when he exited the car nor when he was running with his back facing the cops. They only shot him when he turned towards them and made some kind of gesture. They have reasons to believe he was going to shoot them or their collegeaus knowing he has a firearm and have already used it once during the chase. It has nothing to do with race but his behavior and subsequent actions

  4. when will the police do their job and shoot a school shooter 60 times instead of hiding and lying to parents who want to protect their kids.

  5. If the shots Jayland fired struck and killed an innocent bystander, there would be no day of mourning for that person. This is just sick. Crazy times.

  6. Obviously the day of mourning for Jayland Walker was caused mostly by fear of a riot. Just like the 60 shots were caused by fear of police officers losing a life. Fear is the cause of many things

that many people do not like, ..

.like the US' invasion of Iraq because we feared they had weapons of mass destruction Which was very much like the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

  7. It's all very sad. This young man is dead, his family is enduring such pain and the rioters are out in force not caring about anything or anyone but themselves. The police are in even more danger than before and all because this depressed young man committed suicide by cop. I understand why there is a "day of mourning" now but it's sad that it has to be this way. Clearly this is done to try to stop, or at least minimize the rioting, property damage and violence. It is truly sad that some people feel so entitled that no matter what the truth is they still see themselves as the victims and better than other people. They believe that the law does not apply to them and everyone must submit to their superiority. It's sad to think that this attitude applies not just to the rioters but also to the very wealthy in this country. Maybe it's time for some humility, love and understanding.

  8. You got to be kidding me. Are we going to immortalize every criminal now? I wonder if they’re going to put his name on football helmets too.

  9. POLICE have NO LAWFUL DUTY to PROTECT "People" or "CHILDREN"!
The United States Supreme Court has ruled that Police Serve and Protect the Corporate States, NOT the People!
Police have no duty to protect our children … (Knowledge for Change!)
Qualified Immunity must be abolished from police officers for proper accountability.
    – Michael B. Saari for State Senate 2022

  10. Are you kidding me? The people of Ohio are absolutely the most stupid people I have ever heard of. A criminal is being idolized by very stupid people. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

  11. HOW ABOUT A DAY OF APOLOGIZING FOR HIS WRECKLESS BEHAVIOR

WE ARE ALL VERY LUCKY HE DIDN'T HURT ANY INNOCENT PEOPLE WITH HIS SELFISH WRECKLESS ACTIONS

APOLOGIZE AND BE THANKFUL HE DIDN'T HURT ANYONE ELSE

  12. The point is dropping napalm on Nagasaki after a-Bomb was dropped. Excessive violence is the issue on all fronts. Why is it occurring? Jobs out sourced. Handing out money instead of creating a job market foe all.

  13. Thank you Akron for ridding society of one more thug loser. I think I speak for everyone when I say we all sleep a little easier knowing that pos is 6ft under in a box.
