I love how these jack@$$ businesses expect to continue operations as if 2020 never took place. The tone-deafness of some business owners just about rivals Marie-Antoinuette's "Let 'em eat cake" non-sense. If you're a business or organization, your strategic planning better include meeting employees halfway, raised wages, PTO, health benefits, and flexible work arrangements. If you can't do it, then don't bother. You might as well throw in the towel. I applaud anyone who refuses to go back to the rat race just so they can work for peanuts.

Issues for workers: Finding a job with an actual livable wage, people smoking Marijuana and companies won't allow that, people finding a better way to balance work life after tasting working from home, many older ones in the work force pre-pandemic decided to retire, companies showed their employees how much the don't care about them during the pandemic. AND we are still in a pandemic, even though everyone wants to pretend it's over, so daycare is an issue for many parents.

12. US sorely lacks wise & far-sighted politicians who live from election to election, excel at smearing opponents. Trillions of dollars wasted on maintaining war machinery just to be hegemonic. American voters know only democracy but it is plutocracy that their hypocritical politicians are playing. Main stream media, for better sales, play negative stories on their perceived enemies, hence kicks out a flurry of hatred amongst their gullible customers. If a nuke war broke out with Russia & China, a billion Russians & Chinese might perish, but 350 millions of Americans would all be DEAD. Be forewarned.

    I can’t find retail employees in 4 states, I can’t get my food on time because many restaurants are short on staff, facts ! Many of my ex employees refused to back to work because they get more money from unemployment, fact!

23. I love the way on all these shows that those of us who worked 40, 45 or 50 years that are now on fixed incomes are discounted. A lot of us do survive at or below the poverty line and we just learned to do without. I could write a book here but I'm not going to bore all of you with the meaningless details that it seems nobody cares about but just consider this. I'm old enough to remember gas at 23.9 cents per gallon. I remember getting a burger fries and a drink at McDonald's and actually getting change back from my dollar.
