Nobody deserves to die. Drugs or not, that is someone's brother, sister, son or daughter. Saying they should be left there is cruel. But they should do community service to repay all the money spent rescuing their worthless selves.

If stealing copper was their plan then that's wrong and they should be punished for that. I do not like stealing. Thats so wrong. With that said though I think they deserve to be rescued and not left in the mine to die of starvation. They are very lucky to be alive and If stealing was their plan then I hope they will change their ways and appreciate their life a little more. They are very lucky to be at home with their family right now.
