The US has only one electric train engine, to my knowledge, and it goes out of the new Amtrak Station in NY City. That electric engine only goes about 1/3 of the way from NY to Florida. Just imagine how clean the air would be and what a reduction in noise pollution we would have if all the passenger and freight trains had electric engines. We had the best air quality during the pandemic, if we had more electric vehicles on the road we could really improve the environment. California is burning, the mid-west is flooding and TX is freezing. Thank you President Biden for believing in climate change and doing something to save the Planet.
