Inflation reported is 7% actual more like 10-15% worst in our history , rate hikes were .25% prices will continue to go up as will inflation. Not even close to offsetting…this is all planned, we are in trouble and they know it but why would they tell you that? So, does this mean it’s better to get an auto loan now before they do more hikes? I need to buy this year and looks like I already made a mistake by not getting a loan yet.
Will the hikes effect loans that already exist? So, will our payments go up if we already have a loan and they hike again? I don’t know much about auto loans. Just know I need to buy a new car.
I know this affects consumer spending and loans, etc. but does anyone know if this higher interest rates affect our 401k? Is there a higher interest rates there too?
