When you play, you're going to pay eventually. BK got away with bad behavior but albeit not without some difficulty. Why on earth would these women come out of obscurity to smear a stranger if they truly did not know him. If BK was a decent human being, no one would try to intercept his career path. I remember everyone in my kindergarten class decades ago so it's plausible that Dr. Ford would remember the people at a party and a traumatic incident as a teenager. The strongest witness was BK's buddy who jumped on the bed during the assault and he refused to testify. What does that tell you? All frat boys stick together [well, maybe not all]. The man did not want it on his conscience that he was the one that derailed BK's career path so that's why he disappeared. I wonder how things would have been handled if the accuser was a male and Brett stole something from him or assaulted him. I think it would have turned out very differently.

The spectacle of Kavanaugh’s wife sitting stoically beside him in the FOX news interview was like a picture worth a thousand words. Why was she there? She didn’t really say anything, not even when directly asked a question. Obviously she was a prop who might just as well had a sign pasted on her forehead “I’m the pathetic victim of an unfair process". Frankly this image doesn’t speak well of her nor does it really help Kavanaugh’s case. Being a meek submissive wife who keeps her mouth shut isn’t exactly conveying the message that he is a man who respects women in this day and age, particularly as a justice of the supreme court. I came away from this travesty of responsible media reporting with the distinct feeling that if this woman had even a smidgen of self respect, she'd walk

Wow you can easily spot the deception all throughout this interview based on his choice of words and body language: saying yes as he shakes his head no, using formal speech instead of conjunctions eerily similar to Clinton saying "I did not have sexual relations with that woman.", distancing himself from the victim, adding irrelevant details like being captain of the basketball team. Residents who had turned 18 by that time were grandfathered in and allowed to drink. Kavanaugh was 17 at the time. Kavanaugh was incorrect that it was legal for him to drink.

If the grownups let this groundless smear derail the nomination the confirmation process will be trashed forever. Future nominees' confirmation will not depend on the qualifications, or experience, but will be hostage to the decency, or the lack of, of their political opponents. Anyone can be vaguely accused, and with enough time and resources multiple accusations can be produced. This fiasco should've ended last week. It's a disgrace that it dominates the news with such an old thin tale.

Dr. Ford is lying. The Therapists' Notes are critical. Therapists are very careful with note-taking as it's impossible for them to remember specifics from dozens of clients. They're not sloppy. Ford made these notes public in her coming out interview with the Washington Post. In 2013 Ford had a session and she expressed to the therapist that the incident occurred "in her late teens." This is very significant. "Late teens" would mean she would have been 17, 18 or 19. At 16 she would still be in high school and Kavanaugh would be in college. At 18 or 19 she would be in college. In order to make the story coincide with Kavanaughs age and location, her age had to be revised to "15 years old." But, the Notes contradict this assertion.
This is not a court of law where therapist notes may not be admissible, it's a Senate Hearing. Plus, Dr. Ford proffered the notes as evidence. They clearly demonstrate she is lying.
Kavanaugh is a liar who knows that his media interview isn't the same as an FBI interview because his lies aren't up for perjury.
