31. Interesting that they change everything per 1000. It seems like they do that to minimize the sheer volume of abortions. The totals annually are between 800k and 900k abortions in the US per year. That certainly seems like a large total.

    DC, New Jersey and New York have the highest percent of pregnancies that end up in abortion (roughly 1/3 of pregnancies end up as an abortion) vs. Idaho, South Dakota and Wyoming at less than 5% each. Abortion appears to be more of a cultural issue than anything.

    With that said, I'm actually pro-choice. If someone wants to kill the baby that's in their womb, that's their decision (sucks for the baby of course).

32. I feel like in a case of rape or if the mothers life is at risk, then an abortion should be ok. If you had consensual sex and ended up pregnant, thats your fault and you need to take responsibility. Abortion shouldn't be used as a form of birth control, if you have sex there's a chance you will get pregnant and you need to own up to that.
