  11. What is disgusting is all the healthcare workers, posting on social media, to get pats on the back, and taking the focus OFF the sick, dying, and dead. You are NOT heroes….those patients are. It is disgusting, unprofessional behavior, as you are doing your job, and gerting PAID, which is more then the rest of America. So…SHUT UP! Stop posting for attention & pats on the back. Do your job! Enough is enough. I am an ICU RN, and this behavior is sickening to most true professional nurses.

THEY COULD WEAR A MASK AND AND THEY CAN SELF ISOLATE AFTER SEEING THEIR LOVED ONES FOR THE LAST TIME ON THIS EARTH. NO MATTER HOW BAD THIS PANDEMIC IS WE HAVE TO STILL KEEP HUMANITY AND COMPASSSION,THUS IS JUST HEARTLESS AND IT BREAKS MY HEART INTO THOUSANS OF PIECES THIS IS IMMORAL. THIS HAS TO STOP. LET LIVED ONES SAY THEIR FINAL GOODBYE TO THEIR LOVED ONES, THINK ABOUT IF IT WAS TOUR LOVED ONE ! YOU WOULD DO ANYTHING TO BE BY THEIR SIDE ,TIU KNOW THEY NEED YOU THERE ,THEY THEY KNOW THEY ARE DYING AND ALL A HUMAN WANTS AT THAT TIME SEE THEIR LIVED ONES AND HOLD THEIR HAND AND TELL THEM THEY LOVE THEM.   17. If covid care is free…why are people getting bills for 935.00 for the test plus more if they need to stay? They are TOLD they don't have to pay it yet.. it will be figured out later. Then get told that the test is covered but not the stay or the equipment they needed because it cannot be reused. 3500.00 becomes 900 less for some who can't afford rent or food…..but most Americans stand for that because what the eyes don't see the wallet don't feel. You gonna give up your car payment for your 3rd Sportscar to feed someone who can't find a job cause they got bad teeth and can't afford a dentist?????????????

  18. Don't get me wrong I love the usa, and I'm canadian. What I don't get is, in the land of the free…. why do people allow so much injustice for those who DON'T have. And the family can't sue because technically he wasn't refused… they refered him to another hospital who does accept non insured patients. He just died on the way because it was far from his unpriviliged neighborhood.

  19. Fyi he had health insurance and had long term health problems. Both of which were stated by their town's mayor as well as the family's lawyer. What is wrong with these "news" outlets lately?

  22. I thought this was illegal?? To refuse care for lack of insurance?? If you go to an er in my state you can't be refused. This us sickening and wrong. They should be ashamed of themselves and they should be held accountable.

  29. I don't have insurance either but that's sort of the parents fault as well if you have kids you better have insurance, If the parents couldn't afford it, don't they have a state insurance like NJ familycare which is free.

  38. They're not telling the full details. The family of the boy even said it was non-corona related. The boy had health issues. Live it to the mainstream to capitalize on fear mongering on the young boys death!

  41. Anyone in New York knows that service depends on the type of insurance one has. Those with Medicaid have longer wait times since hospitals will assure to charge the most they can out of the governments insurance. Those with private insurance get better doctors since they refuse to take those with public insurance. Queens is the most diverse city in the world. Most are blue collar folks who make barely above the limit for Medicaid. In turn medical coverage would be a choice in bill priority. A studio apartment if you are lucky to find can be up to 1200 a month. This is why most can’t stay home. All the bailouts for companies who should have a backup but expect people who are barely scraping by to take time of work when it’s the only lively hood.
