  1. childcare workers are struggling a lot to survive.
employees with bachelors working for more than 15 years for 15 dollars.
childcare educators are community workers too.
they needs min. 25 dollars. their life is at risk working with kids without health insurance or sick days .
pl. authorities needs to consider this issue seriously

  2. Im Biden, Get the shot and wear two masks, the money will be there in the time where the the the will be alvaable in the kitchen when the best come around to see where it's going on and you wish see the facts, corn pop was a bad dude

  3. We spend trillions of dollars on fighting useless wars halfway around the world (that kill hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians), but whenever anyone proposes investing in AMERICAN children instead, automatically over half of Congress responds with "bUt tHe DeBt aNd DeFicIt". If you need further proof that our politicians are bought and owned by money interests (military-industrial complex, Big Pharma, powerful corporations, SuperPACS, and so on), there's something wrong with your head. Either that, or you have been bought too.

  4. In my city & state for every father's job eliminated 2 mom jobs half pay grade open, dads seen in sidewalks are more common than moms with kids. Most families are nuclear & not intergenerational with relatives for child care. Dad's have a baby in a stroller & another in chest or back. Not having enough non whites immigrants, there is a higher child care need than most states making this the new normal.

  5. I could write a long essay about this but will say they have missed the childcare needs of shift workers completely. Off shift has been a huge problem for decades, hospitals schedule 7a-7p and flip days and nights, working weekends. Afterschool daycare pretty much closes at 7p and very, very few daycares are open weekends and holidays. Very, very, very , very few will take a mildly ill child( cold, vomitted a couple times, asthma attack, weeping excema)None have a solid plan for when their staff calls in sick. I have experienced suddenly having no childcare, once sick child dropped off at the newborn nursery I was working at and we didn't even have staff to let me get her down to ER… tended her in breakroom while working, years before had other child in breakroom several shifts. Have been very blessed to have a few home providers who understood when it hits the fan I have to keep moving til all is stable and not get upset when I show up 2am. If you want a 24 hr economy, you must have 24 hr childcare.

  6. The US seems to have a priority in Mr. (and I do mean Mr.) CEO and his need for yachts, 5 story-20 bedroom mansions, Teslas, and many other amenities. F his workers. And what Mr. CEO doesn’t understand, the children should be educated and cared for outside the home if they want to continue with educated employees who work hard. HE DOESN’T HAVE A BUSINESS IF THE CHILDREN HAVE NOT BEEN EDUCATED AND COULDN’T CARE LESS ABOUT HIS BUSINESS.

  7. Anchor: “Where are priorities and how do we change this?” <- Regarding USA paying $500 a year for toddler care.
The priorities have fallen when the family fell and families were almost rewarded for being single and not married. Thanks to Pres. Rosevelt and welfare.

So thinking money (“dollars”) can fix the problem is a bandaid on the symptoms.
The root of the problem is the broken families in our homes, to our left and to our right and in the church.

“Leveraging Federal Funds” isn’t actually the answer.

    The answer is obvious. #EncourageFamily
