  3. Now it has been reported by the Coast Guard that the spill was most likely less than 600 barrels and there is no major ecological damage. Thank you to all the hard working individuals on those platforms who are away from their families weeks at a time so that we can have the fuel we need to drive our cars here on land. We all owe you our gratitude.

  4. You’d think if it could be reached by anchor, it could easily be fixed. Deep Horizon 2.0??????I don’t think so… get a grip and fix it and clean it up like we did and do every several years if not yearly. Everything is a “major” catastrophe if it happens in california it seems… there’s oil spills larger than that probably monthly

  6. Lol. It’s obvious that the oil spill happened before the Friday they claimed it happened. As a runner I saw patches of oil underneath my feet as of three months ago this spill has been going on as of three months ago not just a week ago. Once again they’re just covering up the truth. I saw that seagulls to three months ago.

  7. WHOOPS! Coast Guard made a mistake! Today they admitted the actual amount of leaked oil is massively and substantially SMALLER than first reported. What are all the Pretentious Eco-Drooling, Tofu Eating, Prius-driving Drama Queens with a Superiority Complex gonna do now?

  15. We can do better without using oil as a fuel. There has got to be other ways to power vehicles and aircraft in the near future this oil thing is just not a great way to live with.

  16. Hmmm if only we didn’t have to transport oil on oil ships from other countries reserves and had an underground pipeline of our own, we wouldn’t have to deal with these spillages. OH WAIT, WE F’ING DID but the Ahole in the fake Whitehouse studio across the street from the real WH who is masquerading as President CANCELLED IT.   19. This was not caused by a ship’s anchor. They floated that story because the oil industry is trying to preserve itself in the face of overwhelming scrutiny for destroying the Earth while suppressing clean energy technology. It’s a self-preservation mechanism called Convolution.
