For those that relates it to the Iraq war; he didn't want that war. It was Bush and Cheney and others that really wanted it. Powell was lied to by them, given falsified and fabricated intelligence to unintentionally lie to the UNSC and get into that war. Powell genuinely thought those were actual intelligence, but didn't know that his boss was using him/his position as Secretary of State. Powell eventually realized that it was a mistake and he was used by those who really wanted the war, he even publicly admitted that he fcked up and really regretted his decision, something which most politicians and government officials or even random people do not have the guts to do it, especially on a mistake of such magnitude. Basically he was unknowingly used as a pawn and scapegoat by those evil people. So stop blaming him for the mess in Iraq, blame Bush, Cheney, blame those oil giants and others who are involved. Leave the General alone.
