  1. If you're scared of losing qualified immunity it means you know you're doing something wrong so why do we care if these officers leave the force those are bad offices of the questioning that they're bad officers

  2. If they are worried about liability in the moment, then there must be a better way to achieve their goal at that moment.

If there’s no other option, then there won’t be any liability. This will weed out the bad cops.

  3. I support police because I have family members that are police but Cops shouldn't have to worry about removing qualified immunity if they do nothing wrong and follow the law because if they're worried about it then they are probably doing something wrong and against the law! But I hate people's excuses saying that the police can still be sued even if they do everything right and by the law because that is bullcrap because the person would not win the lawsuit against the officer because they would have no proof that the cop was doing something wrong and if the cop follows the law and does everything right then they are ok!

  4. If an officer has to hesitate because he's afraid of losing $25K then he doesn't need to be a police officer. This law only effects an officer I've they've broken the law. So guess what, if you're a cop, you should know what the law is regarding your job, otherwise don't be a cop. It's that simple. As for myself, I'm fully capable of protecting myself. Not once has a cop protected me from anyone.

  5. I agree with getting rid of qualified immunity, not defunding the police. In this way, we can sue when they violate are rights, and they can be held criminally accountable.

  6. It's funny how coPs are afraid, but what they don't realize is that more than half the population is afraid of them!
I mean if I had qualified IMMUNITY as a citizen,I could act like a cop does. So if we all had qualified IMMUNITY?

  7. Boohoo if cops can't do their job and they're afraid to do their job because they're afraid they're going to do something illegal than they shouldn't be on the force to begin with.

  8. It will be ok, there will be good cops that step up. Now they need to make it a felony to lie for another officer. It already is but it's up to police to enforce that and we all know that doesn't happen. they are like a biker gangs. You speak up you may as well move far away. Maybe you will get another job as an officer but unlikely.

  9. This is what the founder's actually intended.
Now the prosecutors need to be held to account not only for over charging suspects with stacking charges but also not charging law enforcement for obvious crimes they commit.

  10. If you quit your job because you’re afraid of being held accountable. I’m glad you quit. You were probably doing wrong things and you don’t wanna be held accountable. you’re here to protect your community act like it take responsibility for your actions bless all those officers who stayed and will put the work in to continue to help their communities

  11. Union Officer Rob Pride you are a horrible waste of human space!
Your criminal groups the "union" was actually founded by the Mob! In the early 1900s Yes that criminal organization, and of course they have infiltrated the police departments in the U.S ! Look it up people the same people we pay to protect us have connections to organize crime!
End Qualified Immunity in the United States NOW!!!
Police are paid to protect us! NOT murder us in cold blood and cover it up!
We are on the trail of all bad apples, and you will see a court room or a prison cell or the chair you murderers

  12. Qualified immunity needs to be removed USA wide the police need to be accountable responsible for their intentional terrorist actions with victims and pay directly the victims not the tax payers now

  13. if a cop "hesitates" in pulling the trigger on a person walking home, or "hesitates" on tackling a blind man, not only will people's teeth be saved from being shattered on the concrete, but more people will feel safer getting out of the car on a traffic stop when they know police will be held accountable if that happens.

  14. The police are masons just like the judges are just like politicians are. They all in this together that’s why it’s not ending everywhere. Once the judge have to sentence they “brother” everything will start to crumble and they can’t have that so this won’t happen.

  15. Most don't get anywhere because they have no merit not because of Qualified Immunity. Learn more about the subject instead of getting your information off CNN.

  16. Imagine walking home and a cop murders you. That happened to this young man. Try putting yourself in his shoes while it happens… how do you feel?

  17. First I do believe officers need to be retrained extremely different and very well. And also trained and go to police training school to learn more about civil rights and constitutional rights. So they have no excuse. Because ignorance of the law is no excuse for citizens and cops.,… That’s why as a card holding Republican capitalist Trump supporter.,… I’ve do believe in getting rid of qualified immunity. Now in cases of split second life or death decisions I think that should be taken by the court systems case by case and scrutinized intensely. But qualified immunity Hass to be done away with because it gives officers the right to almost violate anybody for any reason and they know they will get off Scott free. How they could Personally sued and cost them money and the state and federal government will have to give the victims money. So it makes officers become better officers and when citizens are violated it gives them better recourse.
