The U.S. is closing its doors to high-skilled foreign workers and international students — even some on the front lines of the COVID-19 battle.

  1. I believe that everyone should come in legally and in order to live here, you need to work or if you are a student here in America. People shouldn't complain if they act like if they are our U.S citizens.

  2. Immigration is messed up. Biden wants too many and Trump wants merit based and legally. If the illegal immigration was taken care of properly and Trump wasn't blocked because they called him a bigot maybe this wouldn't have happened. That's my gut feeling.

  3. Also please cover and draw attention to the #S386 bill. It’s a bill that eliminates discrimination based on country of birth. It’s blocked by only @SenatorDurbin . It requires coverage by media to make people aware of GC backlog

  4. I as an Indian is saying this.
    COME BACK WHERE YOU BELONG!
If any NRI is reading this, then understand that American Dream is gone. Just come back and use your knowledge to start your own business. People of India need you now more than ever.
If Americans with Indian ethnicity like Rohan Manchanda of Epigamia can come back to their roots and flourish themselves, then you all can too do it.
In fact, your contribution will help us to beat US and the West someday.
When youngsters like me who can get a chance to come US, but instead are working to chart our own destiny for our own people, then why are you acting like selfish fools, in spite of facing discrimination.
So, come back and let's make India great.

  5. I know a gentleman who is engaged to a lady from another country. What about people who want immigrate here to marry an American… not to work or go to school? Just for personal purposes. Forgive me if I’m naive.

  6. I'm just curious why he isn't already an American citizen, especially if he and his family have been here for an entire decade. Does it take that long for citizenship or was having a Visa just easier?

  7. Trump just wants to win the election by making his racist supporters happy! His racist supporters are not helping America in any way. They are usually brainwashed idiots who are just jealous of skilled immigrants!

  8. People in the front lines shouldn't be worried about being deported while saving AMERICAN LIVES students shouldn't be deported for nonsense. Is this the America we want ? Immigrants fuel our economy and is what made this country

  9. That’s terrible a doctor from London is treated better than an Indian doctor. Pure discrimination what a disgrace

  10. Funny “come in to the country legally”, how did bunker bitch’s ancestor get here? Obviously illegally. So deport trump back to Germany. We don’t need this POS and his whole con-artist crime mob family here

  11. There are many American doctors not allowed to practice medicine in this country because they could not get in a residency program. A number of tax payer funded residency programs in the US select their residents based mostly on the US MLE test scores. Some overseas graduates some how get a higher test scores than the US doctors . ( It May be because the foreign doctors spent an enormous amount of time to study for the test where as our US citizen doctors have other obligations like working to pay off their huge student loans). While I do have sympathy to the oversea doctors, I think we have an obligation to fill all the residency programs with our local doctors first before consider foreigners. Every other countries does that , why not us?

  12. It’s @SenatorDurbin who’s blocking #S386 and adding to the uncertainties of high skilled immigrant families. #HR1044/#S386 has huge bipartisan support. He’s walking away from his promises he made on the Senate floor to work for the legal immigrant families. Senator time to end this discrimination and #PassS386

  13. America doesn't need high skilled immigrant workers. America needs high skilled AMERICAN WORKERS, but since america does not like to invest money into young citizens we have less high skilled workers. Moreover, we have to import skilled workers because of the deficit
